Cardinals and Chiefs Look to Turn Things Around

Week 14 presents a great late afternoon inter-conference matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the host Arizona Cardinals.

The Chiefs are looking to ward off a late season decline, while the Cardinals are searching for some much needed offense.

Both teams are looking to end two game losing streaks and remain in the playoff race in their respective conferences.

Arizona is on top of the NFC West. At home this season, the Cardinals are 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS.

Kansas City just like last season is battling San Diego and Denver to win the AFC West.

Kansas City is coming off a tough 29-16 loss at home against Denver as a favorite by 1 point.

The current line on Bovada and topbet is a pick’em with the point total at 40.5.

According to betonline and sportsbook.com, Kansas City is 7-3 against the number over its past 10 games on the road.

Arizona is 10-1 straight up over its past 11 games at home and 8-3 against the spread including 5-0 over its past five.

The UNDER has cashed in three of the past four games on the road for KC.

Arizona has been perfect playing at home. Two straight losses on the road have hurt the confidence of the Cardinals At the same time, the Super Bowl futures for Arizona dropped to 20 to 1 from 9 to 1 to win this season’s Super Bowl.

Nevertheless, the Cards are undefeated on their home field and are likely to get back Larry Fitzgerald the clubs All Pro receiver.

Fitzgerald practiced Wednesday and will help an offense struggling to score with only 1 touchdown scored in the past two games combined.

The Cardinals lost to Atlanta last week 29-18 as a favorite by 1.5 points.

The Cardinals hope to keep their postseason hopes alive. The team feels comfortable that if they can win their final two home games they can reached the postseason.

Kansas City knows how to falter near end of the NFL season. Last year the team was 9-0 to start the season and then proceeded to lose 5 of their last 7 games.

The Chiefs had won seven of eight prior to losing two straight.

Arizona looks tough at home going 5-1 ATS in their 6 home games thus far.

The current two-game losing streak included a loss to the Oakland Raiders. Hopefully, its 2-5 finish of last year does not repeat itself for the Chiefs.

Pick: I like Arizona and the UNDER. The Cardinals play a notch or two higher when at home, regardless of who is under center.
