Double Feature for Monday Night Football Leads Top …

Though the first Sunday of NFL Football has come and gone in a flash, at least sports fans get treated to an excellent football hangover day, as the Week 1 edition of Monday Night Football features a pair of great match-ups for watching after work and for online sports betting. After an exciting day full of interesting story lines, shocking defeats, and the chance to see a new crop of players in the league or just on different teams, the NFL once again shows us sports betting fans just how much excitement (as well as anxiety) can be packed in to one afternoon of NFL Football! However, moving on to the first Monday of the new NFL season, today sports fans are once again treated to even more exciting football action, and along with it comes the addition of the home stretch in Major League Baseball, as teams turn to divisional play to wrap up the 2011 campaign ahead of this season’s playoffs. We’ll take a look first and foremost at NFL Football for betting on sports at one of the best sportsbooks reviewed here, in the hopes of securing a few quality wagers on the games tonight. Find an East coast showdown between Super Bowl favorites the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins, as well as a match-up in Mile High country as the Denver Broncos host the Oakland Raiders for a classic battle between two former titans of the gridiron both looking to improve this season. With a quick trip to a top sportsbook like the one at Bodog sportsbook (read the review of Bodog Sportsbook) it’s as easy as one two three and my mark is placed for what should be some great action on each side of the US!

Breaking down the two games in store a little bit, definitely the toughest call for tonight’s wagers have to be on the Oakland vs. Denver contest, with the Broncos looking for redemption from last season’s terror experienced at the hands of the increasingly more prolific Raider offense. Head Coach Hue Jackson helms his new Oakland team in their first game of the season, with expectations high throughout Raider nation that the team can finish above .500 on the year and make the playoffs for the first time in 11 seasons. Oakland will certainly wish to repeat a similar performance from last year, when they won 59-14 in Denver behind Darren McFaddens’ 165 yard, 4 TD day. However, the going may get a bit tougher with a new Denver defensive scheme, D-coordinator, and new head coach John Fox. Led by QB Kyle Orton and RB Knowshon Moreno in the backfield, Denver will need to balance out their offense this year with more running game to have lasting success, and get some improvement from last seasons’ worst-ranked defense in the league to help keep them in games.

With the second game of the evening comes a chance to check out the New England Patriots, who are the favorite for Super Bowl XLVI, against the Miami Dolphins, who perennially seem to be changing their roster and looking for the final pieces towards a positive season. The Tom Brady-led offense of the Patriots sparkled in the preseason, and with an improved defense to match, this year’s Patriots look prime to cover a lot of point spreads as their offense becomes simply too much for any opposing team to handle. Look for Brady to hook up often with his fleet of receivers, including the newly added Chad Ochocinco, Wes Welker and Deion Branch, who will test the hyped Miami cornerback tandem of Sean Smith and Vontae Davis. No matter what the defensive scheme is, in this match-up it simply seems like Miami is going to be in for a rude awakening to start the season, with a questionable passing game led by Chad Henne, and new running backs Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas, who will likely face an uphill battle against a seasoned Patriots D-line.

Hopefully you’ve been able to get your bets placed before tonight’s NFL Monday Night Football games, and you’ve also made a little bit of room for the 11 games scheduled for Major League Baseball play as divisional action gets set to finish off the regular season. We at Casinoreview.org are beyond ecstatic that this time of year has finally come, as this last weekend has been one of the best for sports and sportsbook betting in quite some time! Enjoy the NFL football ahead and a number of Major League Baseball games still available for betting on sports, have a great rest of the week, and as always thank you for coming to our site for the best sportsbook reviews to the best online sportsbooks on the net!
