Midweek Wagers at Intertops Sportsbook feature NBA, NHL …

As the week progresses, the available action for online sports betting keeps intensifying, as the NBA and NHL playoffs roll on with ever-more critical games each and every day. For Wednesday, we’re looking at the top options for betting on sports across one of the best reviewed sportsbooks, and for the best bets of the day, the Intertops Sportsbook gets a call to action as a great destination for finding any and all types of wagering on every conceivable sport (or non-sport) taking place around the globe. Starting first with a look into the available betting lines for NBA Basketball, with 3 playoff games set to get underway tonight, we’ll chase down some wagers on the games featuring the San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz, the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies, and the Orlando Magic vs. Indiana Pacers, for a well-rounded parlay wager at Intertops. With the Spurs already showing home dominance over the Jazz in a 15-point rout on Sunday, expect a regrouped Utah team to come out swinging, and attempt to stop Tony Parker from having another exceptional night. Once again, San Antonio is a big favorite to win tonight, getting -11.5 points against the spread, and you can bet that if the Jazz don’t keep this one close and cover the points, this series will be done and gone quicker than the blink of an eye. For the other more entertaining series playing out on the day, turn to what should be a much better contested game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies, as the hosting Griz try to rebound from throwing away Game 1 at home, and look out for Memphis to avoid letting off the gas as they shoot to pull even in the series at 1 game apiece. Lastly for NBA action, the Pacers get a 3-point favorite against the Magic, in what should be another great showdown for Game 3 with the series tied at 1-1.

For bets on the Stanley Cup playoffs tonight, check out the two games in action as the New York Rangers and Washington Capitals get set to break the series tie at 1-1 as well, and you can fully expect this game to be as fast-paced as the first two contests have been, as Washington takes home ice to try and gain an advantage on the Rangers in this 7-game series. Alex Ovechkin could be primed for another great game at home, as he continues to prove to Dale Hunter that he deserves full playing minutes, but make no mistake that the Rangers, behind Henrik Lundqvist, will be looking to keep Caps’ pucks out of the net, and make tonight’s showdown a low-scoring affair. Next on the NHL docket for playoff hockey is the Game 3 showdown between the Nashville Predators and the Phoenix Coyotes. With the ‘Yotes stealing away the first two games of the series at home, they’ll shift their attention to try to pick off another win on the road at Nashville, in a house that is sure to be rockin’ with a few of country music’s most elite stars. With the Predators missing two key ingredients tonight in the suspended Alexander Radulov and Andrei Kostitsyn (both team-issued 1-game suspensions), the road to recovery for Nashville doesn’t look promising, unless goalie Pekka Rinne can must a shut-down night in goal against what has been an ever-improving Phoenix offensive attack. Surprisingly though, the Preds are still the favorite for tonight’s match-up, getting -165 odds to win while the Coyotes sit at +145 underdogs. This could make for a great opportunity picking the underdog in tonight’s match-up, but a desperate Nashville team will be anxious to make sure that those bets don’t pan out and result in a 3-0 hole in the series.

Rounding out the days’ options for online sports betting, we turn to the action in Major League Baseball, where again a fleet of available match-ups has the makings for a host of great wagers. The Tampa Bay Rays look for their 10th victory in 11 games as they once again host the Seattle Mariners, but will have to do it with star player Evan Longoria, who is set to miss 4-8 weeks with a hamstring tear. Nonetheless, with James Shields on the mound at home, expect a very low-scoring night for the Mariners, who are already fading away into obscurity with 4 straight losses coming into tonight’s game. Another team that started well but is faltering badly is the Washington Nationals, who have lost 5-straight and have to take on another tough pitcher in Arizona’s Joe Saunders, who has been absolutely brilliant of late and comes off a 3-hit complete game shutout of the Miami Marlins last Friday. Having little success at Washington though (6.00 ERA in two starts there), look for Saunders to be on his best game, and have the advantage of an anemic Nats’ offense that is hitting just .155 during the 5-game losing streak. Looking out for other great match-ups for online sportsbook betting on Wednesday, spot a great pitcher’s duel in the Philadelphia vs. Atlanta series as Roy Halladay matches up with Tommy Hanson, watch out for the New York Yankees’ Ivan Nova in his pursuit of a franchise record-tying 16th straight win, as he takes on Jake Arrieta and the Baltimore Orioles, and spot Clayton Kershaw on the mound for the LA Dodgers, as they look to steal another game away from the Colorado Rockies tonight. There’s plenty more great MLB action in store for sportsbook bets at Intertops Sportsbook today, so check out all your available options for tonight’s games, and grab a hold of the best-looking bets out there to hopefully put more money in your pocket once the day is done!
