Week 7 of the NFL is just three days away. Only two teams remain unbeaten the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs.
This week’s early matchups are highlighted by a number of favorites like the 49ers, Seahawks, Broncos and Patriots laying points while on the road.
Below are some of the top matchups found on the week 7 NFL calendar.
Thursday starts the week with an NFC West matchup between Seattle and Arizona. The Seahawks are favored on the road by 4.5 points, but could run into trouble with the stubborn Cardinals defense.
Seattle was at home this weekend against Tennessee and did not cover, while Arizona looked as good as or better than San Francisco for the first three quarters of their game.
New England is coming of a last second heroic win thanks to Tom Brady. Odds maker on Bovada, topbet and sportsbook.com have made them 4-point favorites over the New York Jets. The Jets covered in week 1 when they lost 13-10 as 10.5 road dogs.
Kansas City is at home but only a 4.5-point favorite over the disappointing Houston Texans. Houston was embarrassed on Sunday 38-13 by St. Louis at home. KC defeated the Oakland Raiders 24-7, but Oakland played them tough for a half.
The Dallas Cowboys are on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles and thus far, books like betonline have the game as a tossup. Both Philly and Dallas won this past week.
The Carolina Panthers host the St. Louis Rams and are 6-point favorites. The Panthers season has been a roller coaster ride, but they routed Minnesota on Sunday, while St. Louis did the same to Houston.
Atlanta looks to rebound from a 1-4 start when they host Tampa Bay. If it were not for Tampa Bay, which remains winless, the Falcons would be last in the NFC South. However, in this matchup Atlanta is favored (-7).
San Francisco takes to the road this week to face the Tennessee Titans. The Titans lost 20-13 to Seattle, while the 49ers held on against Arizona. This game opened with San Fran as a road favorite at 4 points, was bet up to 5, and now sits at 4.5.
The Green Bay Packers host the Cleveland Browns and the early line has the Pack as 10.5-point favorites. Green Bay just squeaked by Baltimore 19-17, but had two wide receivers injured. Cleveland was at home this week as a favorite against Detroit and lost outright.
Homecoming for Peyton Manning this weekend, as the Denver Broncos visit the Indianapolis Colts. The Broncos were favored in the opening line by 4.5 and that went up to as high as 6, but has returned to 5.5. Denver defeated a game Jacksonville club, while Indy plays Monday night versus San Diego.
