Ease of Use:
Pull up the page and get hit in the face with a lot of textual information. As with other mega-sites, how to display all the different aspects of the site without confusing the eye is a constant challenge. We're not sure it's conquered as of yet. However, there's nothing wrong with lots of choices. Provided you know how to point and click, which you do.
Reputation/Security:
This site has a huge following. Millions of people swear by it. That counts for something, but we like to test things for ourselves. Our tests show that Bodog takes its responsibilities very seriously when it comes to protecting your privacy and your money. In business since 1995, the idea of this site is that an online gambler should fear nothing except the Cincinnati Bengals not covering five against the Oakland Raiders.

Customer Service:
Call or email anytime of the day or night. That's about the size of it, and the size of it works well. We've never had any problem getting through to an operator and an operator's never been less than helpful with our needs (and we have many). However, we'd like to request that a LiveChat instant message function be added ASAP. Because sometimes we don't want to call or email. We want to chat.
Bonuses Paid:
Bodog says it has the "simplest and most value added bonus program" in the industry. Maybe, but simplest in this case means ten percent start-up bonus as opposed to 20 percent (our usual), and "value added" sounds like dot-com jargon. You get 20 percent to refer friends, though, so if you're big on that, go Bodog. It's a testament to the site's other strengths that they can get away with paying less in bonuses than their peers.
Ease of account deposits/withdrawls
Right in this area is where Bodog excels far beyond the mean average. Our experience with this site when it comes to pay-outs is beautiful. The operation is so massive, maybe they just don't need to hold your money for any longer than they have to. We appreciate that, because we need that money. We hit big on the Colts, and we want that dough. |
