Dimeline Sportsbook Review
Dimelinesports.com Review"Dimeline sportsbook has been in operation since 2006 and falls under the BTG Global umbrella, which creates some "guilt by association" because BTG Global has a terrible reputation. That is really a shame since Dimeline offers one of the best-looking interfaces in the business and outstanding live chat support. The look and feel, as well as the functionality, makes it very tempting to play at Dimeline. However, a site is only as good as their bonus and payout policies and there have been many, many complaints of frozen accounts because of seemingly arbitrary bonus disputes. Until Dimeline adequately addresses these issues and stops strong-arming their complaining customers, we recommend that you trust them about as far as you can throw them.."
It is immediately apparent that Dimeline has put significant efforts into making their sportsbook a very easy, attractive, and fun place to play. They offer both a web-based and downloadable game interface; however, the web-based interface often returns the following message, “Could not establish a connection with the game server. Please report this to customer service.” It is unfortunate that this error frequently occurs because they would otherwise have one of the most user-friendly sites in the business.
Dimeline should immediately remove itself from the BTG Global umbrella. By moving to a more reputable gaming network and payment processor, they would show their customers that they are committed to a fair banking system. There are far too many customer complaints and too many stories of Dimeline holding payments hostage until their sportsbook customers agree to pull their negative comments posted on various gaming forums. BTG Global and Dimeline alike have a poor reputation.
Dimeline’s live chat is near instantaneous and is one of the best in the business. They also offer phone support until 7PM PST daily and a cool callback feature where you can enter your phone number and they call you quickly. Only because of the strong-arming complaints reported by their customers do they score much lower than they could in this area; our experience with Dimeline customer service has been great
Dimeline offers some good promotions, but with completely inadequate terms and conditions that spoil a good thing. It is clearly stated on their website, for example, that “bonuses are intended for recreational players only and subject to management approval” and “Dimeline Management reserves the right to refuse, limit, or revoke bonuses at anytime without prior notice.” Dimeline has enacted this clause on numerous occasions and without explanation, which has lead to many customer complaints. It seems that most payout issues result from the terms and conditions of their promotions and they are using those clauses to their advantage. Until Dimeline stops arbitrarily freezing customer accounts, and changes their terms and conditions to be fairer to their customers, expect to continue seeing customer disputes in regards to payouts.
It is never acceptable for a company to censor their customers and hold payments hostage until retracting negative statements. This is a serious black eye for Dimeline that they have shown a history of such actions. That being said, Dimeline does accept all major deposit options and offers universal withdrawals via check or gift card. They are US-friendly as they offer withdrawals using Western Union, Money Gram, and bank wire. However, you can only take advantage of one of those methods if you have previously used the corresponding option to fund your account. Dimeline also offers a Player 2 Player transfer feature that would be nice to see at other sportsbooks.
