Even though I find myself dreaming of the possibility that NHL Hockey will be embraced by sports fans everywhere, and by those looking for some of the most exciting sports betting available, I have to admit that the NBA Playoffs are always the inevitable go-to for wagering and watching sports on any given weekend or weekday, and Americans will always relate to basketball more than my beloved hockey (same goes for Football, er Soccer?). However, even if NBA basketball is not my absolute #1 favorite professional sport, anyone and everyone has to be excited about this Saturday of sports, as the opening round games in the NBA playoffs will surely bring some exciting action to the sportsbooks and the TV, as well as some heavily mismatched series to take advantage of. Without further adue, we leap into the action once again for more wagers on today’s NBA contests courtesy of the Sportsbook.com sportsbook http://www.casinoreview.org/sports_betting/sportsbook.html read the review of Sportsbook.com, which happens to be one of the most frequented sites in our sportsbook betting arsenal to date. Let’s crack through all of the hoops in store for today, and hopefully come out looking good to start playoff wagering.
Cleveland completely outmatches Chicago in just about every way. Derrick Rose, start shooting bud. The opening round game at Cleveland should be just the tip of the iceberg in this series, and by that I mean a string of double digit wins leading to an eventual sweep. While I expect better games once the Bulls get home (as they’ve played pretty well this season in their own building), I don’t expect any less than LeBron James and Mo Williams picking the Bulls apart, and the Bulls headed home down 0-2 in the series after struggling to stop the Cavs’ well-balanced attack. Likewise in the Bucks vs. Hawks game, the Hawks match-up very well in overall size, strength and ability, especially considering center Andrew Bogut will be sitting behind the bench, cheering the team on through the series. Joe Johnson lies in great company as one of the most productive offensive players in the league, and will be key for the Hawks in the playoffs. Expect big things from him, Mike Bibby, and Jamal Crawford off the bench (avg. 18 a game this year) in this series, as again a well-balanced attack will likely prevail against basically just Brandon Jennings. A good season for the Milwaukee Bucks for sure, but a quick exit from this playoffs is imminent.
Getting to the tough games for betting on sports today, I have to concede and take the home teams for the Utah vs. Denver and Boston vs. Miami series. Carmelo Anthony, J.R. Smith and Chauncey Billups will get the offense going early and often against Utah, and in a slug fest, the Nuggets have all the assets to put up more points. Defense is not going to be a part of this series, so big points, and big individual numbers will be prevalent all around. In the Boston v. Miami game, it’ll be close, and as such if Dwayne Wade stays above his season average against Boston (33.3 a game) they’ll prevail…otherwise, Boston is too much of an all around attack for Miami to handle. With these four great games to start the NBA Playoffs, get into the excitement right away with a trip to Sportsbook.com, and your first wagers on basketball before the games start!
For the NHL, the Bruins vs. Sabres, Capitals vs. Canadians and Canucks vs. Kings Series are all set for Game 2, and expect very close games as the Bruins, Caps and Kings look to even the series in must-win games for them. For hockey fans, yet another fun and exciting day amongst what will be many in the next month of play!
