Final week for NCAA College Football makes for great …

It’s another great Saturday of sports ahead, and I for one hope that you are fully prepared to enjoy today’s outstanding NCAA College Football action on tap for watching and more specifically wagering on at one of the top online sports betting sites reviewed here on our website. Hopefully you’ve taken the opportunity to log in to one of our top sportsbooks get your take on the divisional title games in store across the U.S, because if you haven’t yet, you are missing out on some of the greatest football action of the year, with divisional championships up for grabs, and BCS hopes won and lost on this day alone! Any which way you slice it, between all the sports action offered in football, basketball and hockey, it’s a great weekend to be a sports fan, and an even better weekend if you are signed up at one of the best online sportsbooks we’ve tried and tested for years at For today’s online sports betting, I’m back at sportsbook (read the review of as it has been a perennial favorite of mine, and has put me in the positive figures since I became a member about 4 years ago. From football to baseball, hockey to golf, to whatever your fancy, you certainly will be able to find something worth while to bet on at when the season beckons it.

On to the football for today, the first games for watching nationally in the U.S. which will also get the first wagers of the day are the match-ups between the Cincinnati Bearcats and Pittsburgh Panthers, as well as West Virginia taking on Rutgers. While not having much at stake on both games, the divisional match-ups are always a fun way to get started on Saturday, if only to test the waters, so-to-speak. We can’t really see any reason for an upset in either game, as both West Virginia and Pittsburgh clearly have more high-powered offenses, and both teams have shown they can play good defense against just about any opponent. One difference in today’s games here is that the Cincinnati v. Pitt game will be in the snow today, and likely could be an excellent shot at nipping an under wager on total points as both teams trudge along with the ground game for most of the ballgame. Moving to the Conference USA championship today, look for 9-3 UCF to cap off a great year at home, taking down Southern Methodist en route to a likely bid for a spot in the Liberty Bowl. Moving on, find the Civil War to be of huge excitement even if the Oregon State Beavers haven’t lived up to expectations this year, as Oregon looks to finish off a huge 2010 campaign with a shot at the National Title against Auburn, should both teams prevail today. Look for Oregon to drag the string for the first half as they usually do, and cap off another exciting game with LaMichael James looking to put his signature on a Heisman Trophy-worthy season, and coming out victorious today. In a much tougher affair today, Auburn, the other half of the current National Title picture, will have to face Steve Spurrier and his #19 ranked South Carolina squad at home for the SEC title, which is not a sure thing by any means. However, as Auburn QB Cam Newton has shown, he can win a ball game for his team anytime, anywhere, against any competition.

In other exciting NCAA Football competition today, look for a pounding match-up as #9 Oklahoma heads to face #13 Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship game. For picks, I like the nod to go to Oklahoma today, as Sooners QB Landry Jones could be the game changer while Nebraska faces a question mark with their QB Taylor Martinez likely not 100% for the game. Nebraska is susceptible to the passing attack on top of it, and will need plenty from their ground attack to keep this game in sight today. I like the Sooners to roll in a high scoring game, 35-30. Moving further down south today for the ACC championship, find the Florida State Seminoles helmed by Christian Ponder running into the Virginia Tech Hokies, who after starting 0-2 have run the table to 10-2 while going undefeated in ACC play. While the ACC hasn’t been all that spectacular this season with Florida and Georgia falling from grace, this match-up is a good one, with Virginia Tech looking like a more well-balanced team getting the win in this showdown.
