Rare Tuesday NFL match-up, more great sports betting on …

I’m not used to Tuesday’s being this well rounded for betting on sports, however I for one am delighted to say that online sportsbook action is on and popping today at the Bodog Sportsbook (read the review of Bodog Sportsbook) One of my current favorites in the best online sportsbook line-up I like to frequent throughout the week, Bookmaker.com is a great sportsbook amongst a sea of competitors on the web that offer plenty, but come through with little. What makes Bodog.com so nice is simplicity. You know what you want, you want to the right tools and the ease-of-use, and you get it. Done deal. Therefore, for online sports betting today or any day, count on the Bodog.com sportsbook to dish up the best options for betting on sports, with great support behind you if you need it. With Two Bowl games, 7 NBA contests, 41 College hoops match-ups, 9 hockey showdowns, and even one NFL game (the first Tuesday contest since 1946), it’s better than a good day at Bookmaker.com, and with some good picks and a little luck, hopefully we’ll all be on our way to successful Tuesday of sports action!

To get things started, Bowl season gets back underway with some decent match-ups, after a week of filing through the mostly undeserving teams getting into the bowl season with just barely better than .500 records. In the first showdown today, find the Champs Sports Bowl to have a great match-up between two 9-4 teams, #22 West Virginia and North Carolina State. With the Big East extremely weak this year, the better 9-4 team coming in looks to be the Wolfpack, behind the ACC’s leading passer, Russell Wilson. WVU will need to establish a strong running game to keep pace, and either way this game looks to be a great one for sports fans, with the game likely decided late in the 4th quarter. For bets on this opening game, we’ll back the passing offense of the Wolfpack, and a couple of big plays to be the difference maker tonight. For the second game however, a seemingly much easier call looms on the horizon, as the #12 Missouri Tigers take on the now unranked Iowa Buckeyes in this year’s Insight Bowl. With injuries and suspensions abound, Iowa looks to be the clear underdog, however the game should be a fun one full of offense through the air, as Missouri’s Blaine Gabbert could be playing in his last game today, and Iowa’s Ricky Stanzi will no doubt be up to the challenge as well. As always, College bowl games make for great online sports betting, so secure your picks for both these games at Bodog sportsbook today!

With football continuing in the form of a rare Tuesday night NFL game between Minnesota and Philadelphia after the cancellation of the Sunday Night game in Philly due to weather conditions, it’s a great chance to take a wager on another good football game today. With Bret Favre out of the game however, and with Philly at home, the Eagles will look to secure a 2nd seed in the playoffs this year, having already netted a playoff berth last week. Though the Vikings have struggled all year, expect a good defensive effort from Jared Allen tonight, as they’ll need everything they can get to give Leslie Frazier another victory as interim coach (and a win just might secure Frazier a continuation of duties into next season). Make sure to also check out great Hockey match-ups today, including Vancouver hosting Philadelphia, Montreal at Washington and Pittsburgh vs. Atlanta to name just a few, and definitely don’t forget the options for betting on sports in the NBA and NCAA Basketball, with plenty of good looks for possible wagering wins today, especially as conference play opens in College Hoops. Join us again tomorrow for more great looks for betting on sports, and as always good luck to you when wagering at any one of the best online sports betting sites reviewed right here.
