End of weekend wagers at Players Only sportsbook feature …

Like always, the weekend comes to an end all too quickly, yet for Sunday, we relish in one more day of great options for online sports betting, with a full plate of options across a few sports leagues at one of the top sports betting sites reviewed right here. After a wild day of NCAA Basketball has led to another shake-up of the Top 25 with undefeated and #1-ranked Ohio State falling to conference rival Wisconsin, we’re on the lookout for even more potential upsets and underdogs who perform well, in the hopes that the favorable odds will generate us even more capital than going with the favorite, home team options. Like always, it’s the toughest call to make going after those bets which pay the most but offer the most reward, however that’s also part of what makes sports betting so much fun! For today, we’ll look for the best pick-ups on our sports betting ticket across NBA and NCAA Basketball, as well as a couple of options worthy of bet placement on the NHL, and even a couple of looks for some of the late games in the European professional leagues about to take place shortly. For our featured sportsbook pick of the day, we return to a staple source of confidence and security, at the Players Only sportsbook (read the review of Playersonly.com), a tried-and-tested first line example of what a great sportsbook should be.

To the first picks for betting on sports today, we head towards Europe catching a couple of the games that haven’t already eclipsed, starting with a late match between Italy’s Serie A as Internazionale and Juventus clash in Torino. Inter Milan faces a strict challenge sitting in an uncomfortable 4th place in the series table, with Juventus still playing potential spoiler to the top teams and looking to get inside the top 6 at least before the series close. With both teams badly needing to pick up a win in order to stay relevant in the title hunt, expect some risking taking here in this match-up as a win, not a draw will be on the minds of both teams. However, I have to side with the road team in today’s contest, with Wesley Sneijder being the centerpiece for the Nerazzurri, and Juve struggling at home taking just one of their last three there. For the first wager at Players Only, the good look takes Inter with the +150 on the money to win, and a less-profitable, but high likelihood of hitting the over bet surpassing 2.5 goals as both teams will have their strikers poised for an aggressive match. In the French Ligue 1 today, we’ll drop a wager on the match between top-of-table Lille, hosting Toulouse, and with a huge favorite towards the host Lille, we’ll push for another over wager at -111 to pick up a small victory as the top team looks to win with authority in front of their home crowd. Lastly, and mostly for fun, we’ll take a drop on Real Madrid visiting Espanyol in the Spanish La Liga, with Cristiano Ronaldo and group still playing catch-up to one of the best teams in the world, let alone Spain, in FC Barcelona. A set back today would all but wipe Real’s chances of a title. With Espanyol playing well on home pitch all year, expect a tight match-up, and we’ll root for a low-scoring affair with a +130 on the under 2.5 goals.

Heading to bets on NBA and NCAA Basketball today, a handful of games take place throughout the day today in the pro league, including a morning match-up between two titans, the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics, with the latter team in host position. In another huge match-up, the Los Angeles Lakers look to extend their road winning ways as they visit the Orlando Magic, a team that has struggled at home versus teams coming in with winning records. Lastly, we’ll take a look at the Oklahoma City Thunder visiting Golden State, with a clash between two of the league’s most proficient scores in OKC’s Kevin Durant, and the Warriors’ Monta Ellis. For betting on these three match-ups, we’ll go with Miami straight up over Boston as they look to take advantage of position-by-position bigger size, strength and youth, Los Angeles to pick up a win with the +1 on the line, and two good looks for the OKC vs. Golden State match-up, taking OKC to win as the +125 underdog, and also for a test of the 214 point over bet. Moving to throw in a couple good looks on NCAA Basketball today, look for key match-ups as #12 Purdue heads to a tough match-up against the Illinois Fighting Illini, Marquette visits #11 Georgetown, and #9 UConn looks to get back on scoring track hosting Providence at home, whom they should handle with ease.

Lastly, we’ll skim the best games available in NHL Hockey today, including a backing for the Los Angeles Kings, who head to another tough road match-up against Philadelphia, after building confidence last night in a solid 4-1 win over the Washington Capitals. While the Kings haven’t beaten Philly on the road in regulation in 18 years (wow), there’s no better time to squash a streak, as this is one of the best, young teams LA has put together in recent memory. We’ll only put up a few duckets on this prayer of a wager, and admittedly the good money is on Philly, but I’m backing Jonathan Quick to be the better net minder in this big clash today, and emerge a hero for the improving franchise. Make sure to also check out match-ups including the New York Rangers hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins, Dallas vs. Columbus, and Atlanta vs. Carolina as a few of the better showdowns today on ice. With a wide variety of fun and exciting competition available for action at the top online sportsbook at Players Only, there’s plenty of opportunities to cash in on a great Sunday of sports, and hopefully some luck involved in picking up some additional cash in your sports betting account to cap off another great weekend.
