Sportsbook gets the call for betting lines on …

We’ve reached the final day of games before this year’s NBA All-Star break, and with only two games scheduled for NBA Basketball action on Thursday, we’ll break into the sports betting right away with our first two picks of the day at the best online sportsbook found at (read the review of The first sportsbook I ever used while being a contributing writer on this website, Betus Sportsbook continues to provide us with top-level service, great customer support 24/7, and one of the quickest and easiest ways to join in the sports betting action each and every day. Needing a spot for a few quick wagers on NBA action before the league closes its doors through the coming weekend, we’re eying the great games first between the Chicago Bulls and the San Antonio Spurs, and secondly between the Dallas Mavericks and the hosting Phoenix Suns. For the first wager, we’re backing the visiting San Antonio Spurs, who continue their impressive recent performance on the new year (winning 17 of their last 20), and getting a 1 1/2 underdgo at -110 at Betus Sportsbook. With defense being key towards the Spurs’ recent road winning ways, they’ll need to produce more of the same against a solid home team in the Chicago Bulls, who is giving up only 84.5 points while winning 15 of their last 16 at home. If San Antonio doesn’t look like the right pick tonight, and you’re not sure if Chicago can match-up against San Antonio for a full 4 quarters, the under wager on total points set at 188 1/2 could be a reasonable wager to go after as well. For the second wager to lead off today’s sports book bets, we’ll look for those points to show up in this game, as both teams likely will be fast paced all night, on their way to eclipsing the 206 total points mark.

Setting sights on more top sportsbook betting action at Betus sportsbook today, turn to the NCAA Basketball choices, where just a few Top 25 teams compete, but there’s also more and more bubble teams in action worth checking out for potential wagering. #13 Arizona continues to dominate Pac-10 competition this season, bringing back their form as an elite NCAA team as they face Washington State today. While Washington State has stunned many solid teams while playing at home on in Pullman, including almost beating Arizona there last month. However, taking the game to Tucson Arizona is heavily favorited, by 8 points on the spread today. As these two teams have battled in close competition, I like WSU to cover the 8 points in a loss, which will further solidify the Wildcats’ place at the top of the Pac-10 conference. In other match-ups today, find newly-unranked Minnesota getting a tough road test against the pesky Penn State, with the home team getting the advantage. With Minnesota badly needing a win and struggling on the road, this is a tough call to make today in this Big Ten match-up. However, perhaps drawn by the +120 underdog on the money line, I’m hoping the Golden Gophers can muster up a win today to keep their hopes of a decent tournament seed intact. Check out another great contest in a mid-major today, as #25 Temple hosts another usual suspect in the tournament in Richmond, with both teams sitting at 9-2 in the A 10 conference this season. Temple gets a 6 1/2 point favorite at home, while Richmond remains a +240 underdog heading in. Both teams come in hot to this match-up, where Richmond has won 8 straight on the road, while Temple looks for its 20th straight home win tonight. Something has to give one way or another, and perhaps the most impressive figure is Richmond winning 5 of their last 6 against ranked opponents, and with this mark, while I can’t back an all-out Richmond win, I’ll take the Spiders to cover the 6 1/2 points en route to a very close finish.

Heading into another nice selection of games in NHL Hockey, check out a great battle between the Nashville Predators and the Vancouver Canucks, with both teams primed for the playoffs, and a first meeting between the two at Nashville. While Vancouver continues to top the NHL in points, they’ve taken setbacks on defense as a number of key players have gone down to injury over the past two weeks. Taking a little aggression out of the Canucks attack as forwards increasingly have to play more conservatively, I’m looking for a tight game today with a low points total, with a Canucks victory as they have dominated Nashville at home over the past few years. It’s a tough pick, but I’m liking the +240 on Vancouver to win by over 1 1/2 goals, so why not go out on a limb for my favorite team? You might think otherwise…Moving quickly towards a few other prime picks for NHL Hockey, check out games between Los Angeles and the New York Rangers, Detroit and Tampa Bay looking to light things up down in Florida, San Jose hosting Washington in what should be a hotly contested battle, and Phoenix looking to continue a strong home stand against Atlanta as they quickly move up the ranks in the Western Conference. It’s another great day for online sports betting at another one of the best online sportsbooks at, so get your wagers placed, prepare for the excitement later on this evening, and another great weekend for all of us ahead.
