Reaching the midway point in another great week of sports, movement in the NBA once again captures headlines today, as surprisingly the Utah Jazz have traded their most valuable player, Deron Williams, east to the New Jersey Nets in exchange for first round picks, Devin Harris as well as the avoidance of future headaches ala Carmelo Anthony’s long drawn out trade drama that gripped Denver for much of the season. With much focus on the NBA today, we can’t help but starting off another foray into online sports betting with initial pick-ups for basketball action, with a number of teams looking to prime themselves for the playoffs and start the finishing half with confidence-building wins in the first week back after the All-Star Break. Scoring some promising wins yesterday in the NBA on bets at Bookmaker Sportsbook, we turn today to the sportsbook (read the review of for our featured wagers this afternoon, in the hopes of continuing the winning trend into another day of sports betting. Due up for wagers today include games between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs (taking OKC +7), the Dallas Mavericks hosting the Utah Jazz (Dallas to cover the -9.5), Phoenix looking to suppress Atlanta in much the same fashion as the Lakers did last night, and Portland trying to continue their outstanding play at home, regardless of line-up, against those very same Los Angeles Lakers (we’ll take the underdog Portland at +120 on the money). With great games in store for NBA Basketball, head to right away to find these great picks and more at one of the best sports betting site we’ve ever reviewed.

Heading to a few great matches in UEFA Champions League action that continues on today, turn to key match-ups between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, as well as Marseille vs. Manchester United for some top-caliber soccer in Round of 16 competition. As has been the case recently in Champions League action between top teams, scoring remains muted as cautious defense prevails through the first half of play, leading to very few opportunities to bust through the over/under, typically slated at 2.5 goals for most games. With Inter at home facing an improving Bayern side, both teams sitting in 3rd position in their respective country leagues, and a rematch between last year’s showdown in Madrid firmly in the minds of both teams, I’ll side with Bayern today as they look to be the healthier squad, and have been proficient at scoring goals in Champions League play this season. Once again, we’ll go with a low-scoring affair, and I’ll take Bayern to pull off another upset at San Siro, 1-0. In the second match slated for the day, Manchester United gets our pick to pull out a victory at Marseilles, as they try to maintain their unbeaten streak in European play this season.

Turning to match-ups in the NHL, as always I have to show interest in the Californian match-up featuring the Los Angeles Kings at the Anaheim Ducks, as both teams sit tied at 68 points and on the bubble for the 8th seed in the Western Conference playoff picture. Anaheim has been a force at home this season, but without starting goalie Jonas Hiller for another game, we’ll look to the Kings to cap off their 10 game road trip with a win against their in-state rivals. In additional action, we’ll head to the east coast for the match-up between the surging Phoenix Coyotes and the Tampa Bay Lightning, two teams tied at 75 points apiece but playing in opposite conferences. Phoenix has been one of the best road teams in the league, and playing on strong defense, we’ll look to the Coyotes to pick up their 9th win in a row, as +140 underdogs today. In further wagering possibilities, look to the match-up between the San Jose Sharks and Pittsburgh Penguins and the Buffalo Sabres hosting the dwindling Atlanta Thrashers as both teams enter the contest on three-game losing streaks. Something has to give, and we say it’s Buffalo for the win at home, though we’ll take the better looking +110 on the under wager at 5.5 to hopefully pick up a better payout in the final hockey pick of the day.

With a good offering of NCAA Basketball wagers available for additional options for betting on sports at, look over the 11 games featuring Top 25 teams today for exciting picks for your betting ticket. We’ll start off with #12 Wisconsin heading to Michigan and take the over wager on total points at 121, move on to #7 Notre Dame trying to improve on the road against Providence and taking them to cover a 4 point advantage, and take Kansas State to continue building confidence on the road as a 1 point underdog at Nebraska. With a total of 54 games featured in NCAA Basketball today at, no doubt you’ll be able to find a wager or two that lines up just right, and hopefully nets you a win or two to build on future wagers at one of the best online sportsbooks on the web.
