NFL Playoffs add to the excitement of betting on sports …

Though it might be a little sad that with Sunday comes the looming work week ahead, sports fans should feel blessed to bear witness to some great NFL Playoff action for football, NCAA and NBA games for basketball fans, and NHL Hockey for those with a taste for something cooler. It’s one of the better days for online sports betting this week, and after Wild Card Saturday sorted out two good teams right off the bat, it will certainly be of interest to see who will be going home this afternoon. To get things started right we’re heading to Oddsmaker sportsbook (<a href=””>read the review of</a>) for the sports betting action this morning, being as it is one of the best sportsbooks we’ve found, and as such display on our site. Offering every game available around the globe for sportsbook betting, as well as tons of options for side games in their casino and poker rooms, Oddsmaker has what sports fans want, and has our seal of approval after a year plus of active use.

For the opening wager on the NFL Playoffs today, it has to be on the early Baltimore vs. New England game on Patriot turf, where New England claimed the last victory over the Ravens in a pretty tight game, ending 27-21. I’ve been watching Baltimore for the last 4 weeks (being as though I had fantasy stake in Ray Rice…), and have been impressed with their well-balanced attack, quarterback composure, and as always sterling defense (even without one of their best, Ed Reed in the secondary). I still question the Patriot run as I have all season, which will be a crucial element to help establish their passing game against the Raven defense, and as such I have to go Baltimore in my first wager. Secondly, the afternoon game has Green Bay traveling to Arizona, where they previously dismantled the Cardinal attack, and slapped 33 points on their D. I’m looking to see some big points in this one, as I don’t expect Arizona’s defensive adjustments to fully stop the potent Green Bay offense. With a 48.0 point total posted at today, and Green Bay a slight favorite, I will go a few ways here, and take Green Bay with the Spread, and an under wager on total points for the game

With a few great games in NCAA basketball, including #1 Kansas at #15 Tennessee and Virginia Tech and #9 UNC, as well as a good match-up in NBA hoops with Portland hosting Cleveland, basketball fans will find a couple great wagers at sportsbook as well. Lastly, NHL bets feature the Senators traveling to Carolina to meet the Hurricanes, and the BlackHawks hosting the Ducks. With all this great action, you’ll have a great time wagering at Oddsmaker Sportsbook today, and hopefully come out a winner with a chunk of fresh change in your sportsbook account. Enjoy a great Sunday, and good luck!
