Starting off a great weekend of sports with College, Pro …

NCAA College Basketball gets underway bright and early to start off the weekend, with a couple of great opening Top 25 match-ups available for betting on sports at one of the best online sportsbooks reviewed here on our website. To ring in another action-packed weekend, we’re rotating around the top sportsbooks once again, and the wheel of destiny for today lands us at the Bodog Sportsbook (read the review of Bodog Sportsbook), a perennial favorite, and one of the biggest and best sportsbooks in the business right now. As we’ve got two very early games in store today (especially for those residing on the West Coast of the U.S.), we’re on and popping for the best contests of the morning, first between #5 Connecticut hosting #19 Louisville, and getting underway at the same time, #7 Villanova looking to grab another Top 25 win as they welcome #20 Georgetown into a battle royal. Being as these two games are already starting as we speak, we’ve taken the liberty of preparing a few wagers on the match-ups last night at the Bodog Sportsbook, wagering on both UConn and ‘Nova to prevail on home court, and not expecting much in terms of a possible upset. Or so we can hope now that the bets have been placed! With plenty of other great Top 25 action available for this afternoon and evening though, and also some added NBA games throughout the day to make sportsbook betting even more exciting and hopefully profitable, we’ll move on to all the other top sports betting options available at Bodog, in the hopes of making a resurgence after a rough and tumble day of wagering experienced yesterday.

Sticking with NCAA Basketball for a few additional wagering possibilities early on Saturday, we’ll start with another potential upset bid, as Nebraska takes a stand at home against visiting #11 Texas A&M in a Big 12 clash. Nebraska, playing with the best scoring defense in the Big 12 and 13-0 at home this season, could make for a tough opponent for the Aggies, who enter the contest ranked highly, but shooting rather poorly (9th in the Big 12). As such, Nebraska is actually heading in as the favorite in this contest, even though Texas A&M has won its last 2 contests in Lincoln. Therefore, we’ll take the gamble with the Aggies +2 to pick up a tough road win in the first wager at Bodog. Moving on to another Top 25 showdown today, #13 Missouri heads to Austin to meet the 8th-ranked Texas Longhorns, with a 7 point favorite going to the home team. With Texas playing extremely well with their young squad at home, we’re going with a Texas win that covers the spread in the second pick. In the last Top 25 match-up, #12 Purdue gets a challenge from #18 Minnesota, with the Boilermakers favored by 9 points at home, and Minnesota needing a win from a ranked team, we won’t go as far as to take the Golden Gophers to win, but will take them to cover the spread today. With a few other key match-ups including a struggling #10 Syracuse getting a tough road match-up with Marquette, #6 Kansas hosting now-unranked Kansas State, and a good SEC battle as #12 Kentucky hosts Georgia, keep a look out for the games with the best lines to hopefully net you some winners in your online sports betting endeavors at Bodog Sportsbook today.

Finishing off our wagers for the afternoon, we turn over to the NBA for a few choice picks, look for the game of the day between the Atlanta Hawks, who visit the Dallas Mavericks as 5.5 point underdogs. Rightly so, as Atlanta has dropped 10 of 12 when visiting the Mavs, so the smart money is on Dallas, and we also like the look of the under wager on points set at 190. Look for yet another high scoring affair anytime Houston is on the court, this time facing another in-state opponent in San Antonio, New Orleans and Sacramento face off as the Hornets look for their tenth win in a row (and could easily test the 187 point over/under tonight), with the Kings building confidence after a huge 100-95 road win at the Los Angeles Lakers last night. As these teams have played tightly contested games this year, and the Kings try to build on a win and snap the NBA’s best current win streak, it could be a very worthwhile wager to dabble with the Kings +5 on the spread today. With upcoming action tomorrow as the NHL Hockey All-Star game gets underway, it’s always fun to take a stab at the over/under for the game, as the goals generally fly in (and will easily test the 16.5 goals allowed at one of our favorite sportsbooks that hosts wagering for the game,, but look also to more basketball action, soccer matches in Europe, and a host of other future wagers available at one of the top online sports betting websites reviewed right here for great opportunities to capitalize on ahead.
