Sports Betting News - July 20, 2009

As is the case every weekend, it must come to an end at some point in time. With Mondays usually being the longest day of the week, it's always nice to have plenty of sports betting action available, and a couple of Major League Baseball games to watch when work is finally over. For this Monday, I was lucky to get off to a great start for the day, as a few placed wagers at our featured online sportsbook at Sportsbook.com (read the review of sportsbook.com) paid off Sunday evening. Making way for another great day of betting on sports, I'm paying back the sportsbook that has been good to me so far this week, and heading back to Sportsbook.com once again for today's sports betting picks.
There are a number of great potential divisional races going on right now, and there is really no better time to get into Major League Baseball action than at the present. Breaking down the action around the league, Kevin Milwood gets the start for the Texas Rangers against the Red Sox, in a top AL match-up. I'm actually liking the Oakland A's at home, as I generally like the home AL West team against an AL Central foe (don't take my word for it, do your research!), and I'll take a shot with Tampa Bay on the road against the Chicago White Sox. With each day a battle towards the post season in the AL, check out a few great match-ups and try your hand at making a little cash today betting on sports.
Over in the National League, the Rockies look to hang on to their spot at the top of the Wild Card race with a game against Arizona, as they seemingly stand little chance of catching divisional foe Los Angeles. The Cardinals and Astros make for a great chance to see some good mid-west baseball action, and I'll continue to ride Philly over the Chicago Cubs today as well. Make sure to check out all the teams making a move this week, and capitalize on some streaking teams to payout when betting on sports.
