As the thrill of the National League prevailing in the All-Star Game this year lingers on for a few more days, fans will turn their attention slowly away from the spectacle of another great All-Star break full of exciting fanfare, and get ready for the second half of betting on sports for Major League Baseball. Taking a look at the situation around the league, it’s safe to say that many teams seem to have a shot at the post season this year, with a few surprises, and as always, the usual mainstay of perennially great ball clubs leading the charge already. With new talent in the National League pitching category, teams like the Cincinnati Reds, the San Diego Padres, and the Atlanta Braves look to continue their winning ways to the post season and beyond, while fending off the likes of the Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals and Colorado Rockies look to continue their post season trips year after year. In the American League the Angels and Rangers are in fighting positions for the AL West, the AL East is downright nasty with the Red Sox, Rays and Yankees all in striking distance of one another, and the Tigers, White Sox and Twins will be battling through the second half as well. Great competition, and great wagers are all around, so get off to a great start for the remaining 81 games of the season, starting tomorrow.
For Thursday, it’s a slow leak for a few Major League teams getting into action however there is plenty of sports betting up for grabs for future games tomorrow. Heading to the Intertops.com sportsbook (read the review of Intertops.com), I’m taking out a few sportsbook bets for this week’s coming games, and it’s a perfect opportunity today to browse a new website, or head to a new online casino while we wait for the next session of Major League Baseball action. For starters, check out the Texas Rangers vs. the Boston Red Sox, with the advantage towards Texas as Tim Wakefield has seemingly lost his tough this year for Boston. In an AL Central battle, the Minnesota Twins host the Chicago White Sox, and in the AL West, Joel Piniero gets a start against his former team, as the Los Angeles Angels face the Seattle Mariners, with the Angels a likely victor.
In National League upcoming wagers to look at, check out Tim Lincecum up for the San Francisco Giants against the New York Mets, a great match-up as Clayton Kershaw and Chris Carpenter duke it out as the Dodgers meet the Cardinals, and the Phillies vs. Cubs and Braves v. Brewers round out the action to start off the second half. Now that the MLB break is officially over, it’ll be no time before all teams are back to business and more great online sportsbook betting will be available at the top online sportsbooks reviewed here at Casinoreview.org!
