Some days, everything just goes right. You hop online, and head to a favorite online sportsbook to take out a few wagers, and withing a few hours, you’ve got extra money in your online account. Other days, things don’t turn out so rosy. Unfortunately for myself, Wednesday went a little sour for my sportsbook betting, and I’m certainly hoping that everyone else faired a little better than did I. For wagering action last night, I chose to go with a couple of parlay bets, after winning a little extra cash on Tuesday night and having a bit of change to throw around. Heading to one of our best online sports betting sites at Betonusa.com, I threw down the first wager of the day, taking the Yanks to recover from an embarrassing loss to the Baltimore Orioles. Also adding the San Diego Padres to overcome the San Francisco Giants and the Cubbies over the Rockies, this seemed like a good bet to start out with. What Greg Maddux and Carlos Zambrano accomplished for the Padres and Cubs respectively, Roger Clemens did not. The Yankees aren’t coming out of their miserable road trip, and have now lost four games in a row, and are 1-7 on this outing.
For the next wager of the day, my red hot Seattle Mariners would be first on my list, and after Wednesday night’s game, it was true that this game was a good pick. Going into the 11th inning at home, Jose Lopez finished the game with a walk off double, scoring Ichiro Suzuki and completing a home stand sweep of the AL East leading Boston Red Sox. Ironically, the hit came off former Mariner Joel Pineiro, making the Seattle faithful all the more celebratory about the win. Too bad for my sportsbook betting though, as this game was included in a two team parlay with the L.A Angels. I would be one of the last people to suggest that the Angels, leading the A.L. West and playing at home, would get swept by the last place Kansas City Royals who have now won four straight games. The baseball gods certainly do work in mysterious ways. If anything is to be learned out of all this, it’s that small bets do pay off, even if you’re on the losing end. Placing just 5 dollar wagers on each bet, 10 dollars between two parlays doesn’t seem so bad in the long run, and perhaps it’s time to stray a little from parlay wagering online. Still, it seems really rare that both the Angels and the Yankees would get taken down by two last place teams, especially when a swept series at home is on the line in one game, and a four game losing streak in the other.
Such is the life of online sportsbook wagering. You win some and you lose some, however, for this writer, as long as the wins come before the losses it really makes little difference to me. I love betting online on Major League Baseball, even if some days are better than others. Besides, when online sports betting gets a little tiring there’s always the multitude of great online casinos to choose from here at CasinoReview.org. Hopefully your luck was a little better than mine was on Wednesday night, but you and I both know I’ll be back at in again tomorrow. Stay tuned for more sports betting updates then, and from all of us here, thanks for checking out our website, where you can find the best online sportsbooks and casinos offered anywhere.
