Sportsbook Betting on Major League Baseball

It’s a new day and I am happy to say that the unexpected outcomes that translated into a couple of sportsbook losses for yours truly are pushed aside to make way for more online sportsbook betting on Major League Baseball. Being ever the optimist, I’m back at it again for more wagers at in the hopes that my less fortunate wagers from previous days will come to pass as I place my bets tonight on a few key baseball match-ups. It’s been an up and down series of events betting on the NBA and NHL playoffs, and perhaps making a change of scenery to the MLB will be just what my sports betting luck needs to get kicked back into a winning gear. Certainly the West Coast game of the evening for me will be the ball game between the L.A. Angels and the Seattle Mariners, with both teams looking to tally up some much needed division wins. There should be a great battle between Bartolo Colon and ex-Angel Jarrod Washburn in store for sports fans tonight,  who will square off at the magnificent Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington, so if you haven’t done any sports betting for this evening, definitely check this game out.

Other great Major League Baseball games in store for Thursday night include the Boston Red Sox playing host in a series against the Detroit Tigers. With Curt Schilling on the mound at home, I would be reluctant to bet against the BoSox, and with that in mind have taken another wager for Boston to win with the line given at This is the second game of the double header, in which Boston has already come out on top in the first game with a strong showing from Julian Tavarez, who has lost three of his previous four starts,  and in today’s game only allowed one run, four singles and four walks in seven innings. Chad Durbin, pitching for Detroit in the later game, will most certainly have his hands full, especially with Mr. Schilling as his opponent. He will get a little help from the fact that David Ortiz will sit this second game out due to illness, but I’m still counting on Boston’s strong pitching, and big bats at home to pull out a victory for me this evening.

Now I almost managed to make it through today without mentioning postseason basketball and hockey however, if you are planning on heading to one of our best online sportsbooks featured at,  you will probably want to check out tonight’s playoff match-ups. The Chicago Bulls have been a huge surprise in mounting a comeback against Detroit, and will look to even the series at three games apiece at home this evening. And speaking of Detroit, who has great teams everywhere these days, they will be at Anaheim to face the Ducks once again after giving them an awful 5-0 spanking on Tuesday night. You can bet on this being a much closer game, as the Ducks face a must win situation in order to prevent the series heading back to Joe Louis Arena down 3-1. Check out these games and more at our featured online sports betting sites, and as always we wish you the best of luck!
