Online sports betting gets just one game thinner on Tuesday, as the San Francisco Giants closed out the 2010 World Series last evening, beating the Texas Rangers 3-1 on another phenomenal performance from Tim Lincecum, matching once again with closer Brian Wilson to shut the game down and win the first Championship for the West Coast-based Giants, and first in 54 years for the team in general. An unfortunate end for Cliff Lee, who had pitched so well (and also wound up proving me wrong, losing two games in a row in the same postseason), and for the Texas Rangers, who managed to get farther than most had anticipated, and yet will have to try, try again to make it back to the hallowed grounds of World Series baseball. With closure from one season comes opportunity for others however, and for betting on sports today, a number of different leagues are in competition, and primed for online sports betting, at one of the top reviewed sportsbooks featured on our website, With a taste of NBA basketball on tap, as well as NHL Hockey and a grip of UEFA Champions League games on the European Continent, it should at least be worth a gander at the betting options at a top sportsbook like Betus.com sportsbook (read the review of Betus.com), which we’ll use for betting purposes today. Betus.com features a great sportsbook platform, great people behind the scenes, and easy-in-easy-out sportsbook betting for all the best match-ups any day of the week. A great place to wager, do it with confidence and tried-and-tested backing from our staff here.
For NBA hoops action on Tuesday, 7 games are in play at Betus Sportsbook, making for the center of attention in sportsbook bets today. Still anxious to see if Cleveland can rebound without LeBron, they’ll take to home court against Atlanta, coming out to a hot start winning their first three games on the road. Not convinced the Cavs have their offense together yet, Joe Johnson at the Hawks make a good pick to keep their perfect record, and I’ll take them with the spread for the first wager of the day. The Pistons as well face more of an uphill challenge, pulling the Celtics tonight and in the face of starting 0-4, and the Miami Heat take prey of another entering the United Airlines Arena, hosting Minnesota as they start to pick up steam and figure out the balance of power with the Big Three. Lakers over Grizzlies (no more need to be said there). After hedging on Portland to start 4-0, I’ll have to double up on them starting 4-1 as they finish off their road trip in Milwaukee, and should bounce back against another slow starting team. Check out John Wall and the Wizards to secure a win at home against Philadelphia, who yet again look terrible both at home or on the road this season.
For continued sports book betting action, look to four games in the NHL, with the Canucks trying to finally pick up a road win this season, and a good chance with the Edmonton Oilers off to a low-scoring start to the year. Roberto Luongo has been just awful in road games to start this year, but with the Vancouver offense picking up slack, look for a potentially high scoring outing from both teams, and a win for the Canucks. Ottawa looks to continue an upward climb after a slow start, looking to drop the Toronto Blue Jays to 1-5 after starting the season 4-0, San Jose faces a tough challenge at Minnesota on game 4 of a 5 game home stand, and Columbus tries to shut down the attack of the Montreal Canadiens with more excellent play in goal from Mathieu Garon. Looking towards further sportsbook bets in Europe today, UEFA Champions League is once again focus for great betting choices, with 8 matches on tap for watching and wagering. Tottenham continues to be my horse in the Premier League, and why not the Champions League as well? Facing a tough task against Internazionale today, at home I’ll look for Gareth Bale to lead the charge to victory against one of the top Italian clubs. Manchester United looks a huge favorite over Buraspor, and even with a 3 goal spread I’ll take Sir Alex Ferguson’s club to prevail big on the road tonight. Barcelona should crush FC Copenhagen, Valencia matches up in dominant form against Rangers, and I’ll keep rooting for Lyon, a big winner for me in action last season (though not the same explosive team this year, yet anyways). It’s another great day for online sports betting, and at Betus sportsbook, get in for a couple exciting additions to the sports happening around the world right now. We’ll catch you again tomorrow, hopefully with more money in our pockets collectively!
