Online sports betting taps NBA, NHL and more at WagerWeb …

As the NCAA Basketball season begins to brew excitement among sports fans with the first day of competition concluding yesterday, we have a slight lag for betting on college hoops today, before the resumption of the 2K Coaches vs. Cancer Classic gives plenty of options for betting on sports in the days to come. As always, the beginning of any new sports season is an exciting time for sports betting fans, and with College Basketball especially, one of the best and most active sports seasons is now upon us officially. With 4 more games scheduled for Wednesday, you can drop a few wagers on the NCAA games tomorrow, before looking towards today’s bets match-ups at one of the top online sports betting sites. For key wagers today, online sportsbook betting action is at WagerWeb Sportsbook (read the review of WagerWeb Sportsbook). With a little taste of NBA basketball, paired with a handful of NHL choices, and one tiny sprinkling of NCAA football, betting on sports tonight will be a quick, but interesting challenge. One thing that is certain heading into the action is that the site providing the online sportsbook at is an instant hit with me this year. New to our reviews, but fully up to snuff in terms of options, ease-of-use, and reliability, try your hand at WagerWeb Sportsbook and see what we’re fussing about.

For NBA Basketball bets to kick off the day, the WagerWeb sportsbook action holds 7 games, with a few exciting match-ups at hand. First up is the contest between the Utah Jazz and the Miami Heat, with the Heat holding a 3-0 home record heading into tonight’s game. Utah has eased out of a bit of a funk to start the year, getting some key come-from-behind wins of late to move to a 3-3 record coming into tonight’s game. However, with the Big Three of Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James on home court, it’s a tough wager to put Utah to win on the road. However, with the Heat getting a spread of 5.5 points at WagerWeb today, I like Utah’s chances to keep the game close, and will take the first bet on them to cover. Switching to the West Coast, Portland looks to rebound after getting hammered by the Los Angeles Lakers, hosting the 2-5 Detroit Pistons who haven’t yet won on the road. Looking for vengeance for the last embarrassing loss, Portland should rout the Pistons tonight, and a bet with Portland and the points spread looks promising. Speaking of a rout, look for the Los Angeles Lakers to hit 8-0 as they host Minnesota at home tonight, with only Kevin Love as a standout for the visiting T-Wolves. In the last remaining unbeaten match-up, watch Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets take on the Los Angeles Clippers, who stand little chance against the hot-handed Hornets, who are getting help from all parts of their line-up and looking very impressive to start the season.

For NHL Hockey tonight, I’m rooting for my Vancouver Canucks on the road against the hot Montreal Canadiens, and while it’s a tough pick to choose Vancouver to win, I like the chance at the under wager on total points, as both teams will look to suppress power plays and play solid defense. Montreal will look to end the Canucks six-game winning streak, and for betting at WagerWeb sportsbook, even as a fan I’d have to admit that if a streak is to end, it’ll be at the hands of the Habs at home. Check out continued action tonight as the Tampa Bay Lightning look to further the Toronto Maple Leafs’ fall back to reality with their sixth straight loss, the Ottawa Senators have awoken after a quiet start and host Atlanta tonight at home looking to go 8-6-1, Calgary looks to snap a four-game losing streak on the road at Colorado and the Capitals look for their fifth straight taking on the New York Rangers tonight. Finally, find an interesting matching in California as the San Jose Sharks try to jump above .500 with a win at home.

To close out the options for betting on sports today at WagerWeb sportsbook, look for a lone match-up in College Football, as the Northern Illinois Huskies host the Toledo Rockets, and have a firm advantage with a powerful running game and a better Quarterback in tonight’s match-up. Further, catch a pair of English Premier League matches getting underway shortly, as Stoke City and Birmingham try to fight off being pushed towards the relegation level in the League, and Tottenham Spurs seek out a pivotal win at White Hart Lane, hosting Sunderland. With plenty of wagers across numerous sports to make for an exciting day of sportsbook betting, head down to the WagerWeb sportsbook, peek around at the offerings that look best to you, and prepare for a fine night of sports ahead, once the dreaded work day is over. Until next time, enjoy your day and evening, and good luck in all your wagers on Tuesday!
