Midweek sportsbook betting features NBA, NCAA hoops, NHL, …

Wednesday is a much improved day of sportsbook betting for us sports fans, and with a bit of excitement I’m pleased to note that the NCAA Basketball schedule resumes today with more action in the 2K Sports Coaches vs. Cancer annual Classis, NBA hoops continues with 10 games on tap, NHL Hockey features six games on ice later tonight, and a full day of English Premier League Soccer starts up the great options for betting on sports! With one match-up in College Football tonight, and with NFL football opening up its Thursday edition this week with a solid match-up between the Baltimore Ravens and the Atlanta Falcons, Football is knocking at the door prior to the weekend, tempting sportsbook bettors to pony up for a few quick wagers before the full action of NCAA College Football Saturday, and NFL Sunday commence in the days to come. Without further adieu, to get the wagers for today cracking we’ll turn to the top online sports betting site at Betus.com (read the review of Betus.com)! Betus.com is one of my all-time favorite places to wager at, with a great track record of favorable betting lines, solid support, and prompt payments. To get the day started, it’s an opening wager on the NFL game set for tomorrow, with the Ravens getting my nod as the best team in the NFL through 9 weeks, and set to shut down the offensive attack of Matt Ryan, Michael Turner and the Atlanta Falcons. With the spread only giving 1 point to Baltimore, I’ll take the visitors to win as the first wager of the day for Wednesday.

Moving over to College Hoops, the 2K Coaches vs. Cancer Classic gets the 2009-10 NCAA Basketball season going, with a couple of huge mismatches already in store for Day 2 of the tournament. While not much in the way of exciting action to watch, there is some pretty easy money to be made combining a few of the top teams in parlay, and waiting to see what happens. I can’t resist a new season of sports, so I’ll parlay the four games for NCAA Basketball today, as #4 Pittsburgh, Texas, #16 Illinois and Maryland come out swinging against relative unknowns in the world of college hoops. To continue the trend on basketball, look no further than the slew of 10 games for online sportsbook betting on NBA Basketball, including the Orlando Magic hosting the Utah Jazz (the latter team coming off a huge road win at Miami last night), the Atlanta Hawks looking to avoid 3 straight losses, hosting the Milwaukee Bucks, the Houston Rockets still trying to level out their heavy scoring attack with their poor defense as they travel to Washington to take on John Wall and company, and the Golden State Warriors taking on New York looking for their second road win of the season. With key starter Monta Ellis on the fence after a back strain on Monday, if he’s unable to play, nod goes to New York to come out on top at home. As the season heats up, the action becomes slightly more predictable, and now is as good a time as any to check out a handful of great teams, and learn their strengths and weaknesses for use in all the games further on in the year.

With the remaining games for sportsbook betting today resting in the NHL and English Premier League action across the pond, look for a big handful of matches to choose from in both leagues, which should make for an exciting day of betting on sports at the top sportsbook at Betus.com. Always down for a Boston vs. Pittsburgh contest, I’ll continue to ride Boston’s strong start this year, and the Pens’ inability to shut down teams coming into their own house. Toronto looks to finally stop the bleeding of their recent six game losing streak, and if ever a chance on the road, tonight is it against the Florida Panthers. Look for the St. Louis Blues in a tough match-up against the Columbus Blue Jackets, with both teams riding outstanding goalie play to 9-1-2 and 8-5 records respectively. I’ll stick with the winning streak for the Blues to win, but with neither team able to produce goals this season, but prevailing on solid netminding, keep watch of the under wager on total points in this one. Switching to the best match-ups in Premier League play, Chelsea should make quick work of Fulham today, Manchester City looks to take advantage of home field, and key scratches on the Manchester United side to come out victorious, Liverpool tries to continue their strong play of late against Wigan, West Brom gets my pick against West Ham naturally, and Aston Villa looks to remain strong at home against Blackpool once again today. All-in-all, a great day for sports and online sportsbook bets, find all these options and more at the Betus sportsbook, and as always thanks for checking in for reviews on the best sports betting sites, and updates in the exciting world of online sports betting!
