NCAA Football, College and NBA Basketball anchor sports …

We’ve reached the holy ground in the sporting week, as this Saturday marks the first true weekend packed with NCAA Basketball, to combine with the usual flow of NCAA Football, NBA Hoops, NHL Hockey and great Soccer matches around the globe! Getting up early and wagering in our featured online sportsbooks for Saturday’s exciting action in the NCAA, I’ll be the first to admit the excitement built up in anticipation to wager on today’s top sportsbook options, after a bit of a rough and tumble Friday wagering on the first set of games in NCAA Basketball. There’s never a better time to catch all the best that online sportsbook betting has to offer than right now, as so many sports leagues are in competition, and so many options are open to give you a wide range of games to pick and choose from, both to watch and wager on. For sportsbook bets today, I’m headed over to the Intertops Sportsbook (read the review of Intertops), which hasn’t seen a bit of action from me in a while, and will prepare for a few wagers across each of the busiest sports leagues today. remains one of the longest-standing online sportsbooks, filled with every wagering option you could possibly wish for, and a good track record of being a reliable place to place you wagers. In a field of sketchy websites, count on a long-standing reputation at Intertops sportsbook as one of the best in the business, and wager with confidence today at

For opening wagers today, check out the first games in action in Europe, as English Premier League matches lead the charge for online sportsbook bets today. In key match-ups, look for Tottenham Spurs to continue to ride the strong play of Gareth Bale to reach victory on home pitch at White Hart Lane, facing the visiting Blackburn Rovers. Aston Villa looks to try and nab away a rare win or draw at home against Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United squad, which would be the first for Villa since the 1995-96 campaign. Though plagued with injuries coming in, coach Gerard Houllier has been one of the few success stories against Man U, during his time spent at the helm of Liverpool. With Manchester drawing even against opponents as many times as they have won this season, odds are good that even the depleted Villa can muster up a good showing and pull off something historic today. In other matches, look for Manchester City on their home turf to overpower Birmingham, Stoke City, recent victors over Birmingham, trying to shut down Liverpool as the two battle in the middle of the Premier League table, and Bolton to come up victorious against floundering Wolves. With a tight margin at the top of the Premier League, and a wide-open field through 15 positions, it’s an exciting year to watch and wager on this fantastic sports league right now!

Moving into Week 11 in NCAA College Football wagering, Top 25 teams are the focus for wagers today, with a few head-to-head match-ups worth checking out, and a few upsets to keep in mind before perusing your options for online sports betting. #12 Alabama facing #19 Mississippi State kicks off the top match-up between ranked teams, with Mark Ingram looking to steal the show in front of a home crowd and come back from a tough road loss last week at LSU. #17 Missouri will also try to bounce back at home this week, after losing at Texas Tech, this week taking on#24 Kansas State. K-State hasn’t won against a ranked opponent this season, so look for the Blaine Gabbert-led Tigers to recover at home and put away the Wildcats with offensive firepower. Lastly, in another battle of ranked opponents, check out a big upset potential as Steve Spurrier returns to The Swamp with his #23-ranked SC Gamecocks, taking on #22 Florida, lead by Urban Meyer. A special player to watch in this match-up is Freshman sensation Marcus Lattimore, as he attempts to help his squad win at Gainesville after 12 consecutive failed attempts. With a weakened Florida offense suffering a serious void after Tim Tebow’s departure last season, Florida will need to find a way to hold off an upset today, and keep their Top 25 ranking going forward. In other worthy upset-minded games, the underrated USC Trojans led by Matt Barkley have a favorable match-up on the road at #18 Arizona, look out for a pesky Northwestern at home against #13 Iowa as they continue to play better and better each week, and as always, lookout for an upset of the #1 ranked Oregon Ducks, with California head-hunting at home (and playing much better than their 5-4 record alludes to).
