Sunday, as always, is the best-of-the-best day for football fans. Heading into Week 10, the excitement of the playoff picture is already upon us, as we watch with anticipation heading into the last bye weeks of play, and many teams start to fully realize their potential, while others fade slowly into oblivion and hope for better draft picks and signings for next season. Without a doubt, NFL Football is the biggest sporting event when it comes to online sports betting, with the best odds for winning, and with much more predictability than the amateur leagues such as NCAA Football or Basketball. For today’s action, I’ll be venturing down to the online sportsbook at Betus.com (read the review of BetUS) for today’s picks, and am anxiously awaiting the first series of kickoffs starting at 10 am PST. With a number of critical match-ups for teams looking to secure positions within their division, as well as some teams already looking to play spoiler against the top squads in the league, it’s a fun and exciting week to wager on NFL football, taking your best stab at the winners and losers for Week 10. There’s no better place for betting on NFL Football than at the Betus.com sportsbook, especially when given the bounty of wagering information, great additional packets of NFL data on teams, and not to mention the solid yearly pin-up calendar Betus has been putting out now and sending to sports fans that wager on their website….
Wagering on the bulk of the NFL contests today, look for a number of great match-ups with which to cash in on at the Betus.com sportsbook, on your way to hopefully a profitable and exciting day of football. In morning action, the upset alert of the day is one of the more talked about contests of the week in the NFL, with the two Ryan brothers facing off as the New York Jets go visit the Cleveland Browns, a scary proposition for any top team (ask the Patriots about that one). Betting on an ugly, grinding game, this one could come down to the better backfield, split between LaDanian Tomlinson and Shonn Green for the Jets, and Peyton Hillis of the Browns. At home, the Browns have been very successful at stifling the run game, and with the Jets’ lack of a true passer in Mark Sanchez, look for lots of field goals, and a tight finish in today’s opening game. The Browns have been talked up as of late, but their one-dimensional offensive attack likely won’t cut it in this game, or in a league where it’s becoming more and more about the ability to strike downfield. Heading over to another key match-up this morning, the Chicago Bears try to wipe out the Minnesota Vikings chance at turning around their season, though they’ll have to have much better presence on the offensive line should they hope to prevail. With the Vikings D not showing many signs of life outside Jared Allen though, a strong defensive effort on the Bears part to slow down the veteran Bret Favre could be the difference in this match-up today. Moving onward to more interesting wagers today, look for a shoot-out between the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars with two of the worst pass defenses in the league, I like the Titans to clamp down Miami’s offensive options and hold them winless at home through 5 tries, the Broncos try to bounce back at home against division foes Kansas City, and the big game of the night features the New England Patriots headed to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers. All-in-all, a great day of NFL Football, and plenty of great options for betting on sports at Betus.com sportsbook right here.
For a few additional wagers today, check out the Western Conference Final match in Major League Soccer, as the Los Angeles Galaxy host FC Dallas for a berth in the 2010 MLS Cup. Perhaps the most star-studded affair in Major League Soccer, this game will be well worth a watch, and perhaps a wager for the second to the last match of the year. Along Soccer lines, check out the two remaining Premier League matches, as Arsenal travels to face Everton, and Chelsea take a home stand against Sunderland, with the Blues looking to extend a 5 point lead on top of the 2010-11 table. 5 games in NBA Basketball continue great options for online sports betting, with the crown of the evening being the match-up between Phoenix and the Los Angeles Lakers, with the Suns finally starting to hit a rhythm after a slow start. I certainly hope that you are and have been able to take in a bit of relaxation this weekend, and that any wagers placed at the top sportsbooks reviewed here turn out in your favor. Enjoy the last day of freedom before returning to the work week, and get into more exciting sports action ahead as the NCAA Basketball season opens up midweek sports betting like never before. You can bet on the high quality of all the top sportsbooks reviewed on our site to provide you with exciting action, great casino play, and prompt service and payouts.
