College Basketball anchors sports betting options at …

As the NCAA College Basketball season gears up in preparation of conference play in the weeks to come, right now is one of the best times to check out how the top teams in the nation handle upset-minded underdogs, playing on neutral court locations, and learning to mesh with new players replacing last year’s crop of seniors. While it’s been a wild and often unpredictable start to the College hoops season, there are a number of great teams quickly emerging, which make for plenty of options for online sports betting picks at the top sportsbooks reviewed right here. For today’s sports action and betting on sports, a total of 79 contests, including 15 featuring Top 25 teams are in store for later this afternoon and evening, giving you a virtual smorgasbord of betting choices on one of the most exciting and intense sports in the world. For Tuesday, we’ll settle in on a couple of NCAA Basketball picks at the sportsbook (read the review of, and look over the options for further wagers on a couple of match-ups featured across the NHL Hockey, NBA Basketball and various Soccer leagues to round out a nice day of online sports betting. If you haven’t yet had the chance to check out any of the sports betting websites reviewed here, take a look at the Superbook sportsbook, a long-standing favorite for us over the past 4 years, and always a safe and secure place to wager any day of the week.

The two big match-ups of the day for College Basketball have to be the showdown between #1 Duke and #4 Kansas State, and also a great contest between #9 Kentucky and #11 Washington, two teams with explosive offenses and outstanding head coaches who seem able to put their squads into the Top 25 regardless of talent, age or ability within their teams. In the latter semifinal showdown in the EA Sports Maui Invitational, no doubt the center of attention will be on star recruit Terrence Jones, who retracted his intention to play at Washington this year (being a Pac Northwest native out of Portland, Oregon), and instead went to play under John Calipari’s Wildcats this season. The 6’8″ Jones will likely be one of the best freshman players in the NCAA this season, and no doubt the Huskies will try as hard as possible today to show him why he should have stuck with Washington. As has been the case many times to start off the opening tournaments of the season, I like an upset here with Washington to emerge as the winner, with an explosive offense ranked 3rd in the nation in scoring. In the big Top 5 match-up, call me biased towards head coach Mike Krzyzewski over Frank Martin, but since both teams have such strong talent this year, it may simply come down to better coaching in the Duke vs. Kansas State match-up today (not to mention an opportunity for coach K to reach his 800th win). A key match-up worth watching today is between KSU’s star guard Jacob Pullen, who will be matched against freshman Kyrie Irving, giving fans a great look at two of the nation’s top stars, no doubt being primed for greatness in the NBA shortly. No doubt one of the best College Hoops games of the week, make sure to take your best shot at this game with a wager today at sportsbook.

Moving on to more basketball picks, look for a good match-up as #2 Michigan State takes on unranked UConn, with Jim Calhoun’s Huskies seemingly underrated to start the year, and Michigan State not yet playing up to their expected potential with great players like Kalin Lucas, Draymond Green and Korie Lucious coming back. One up and coming player to watch in this game, and the season ahead is UConn guard Kemba Walker, already averaging an unheard of 30 points per game through the first three outings. While the experience points to MSU to win, I like a tight game here, and will take UConn with as the underdog with the points spread to finish off wagers on NCAA Basketball today. With plenty of other wagering possibilities for NCAA Hoops check out a bevy of options before moving on to other professional leagues, including the list of NBA Basketball games to further add to the action on the hardwood today. With the NBA holding 6 games today, check out key match-ups including Indiana at home against Cleveland looking to go above .500 after a solid victory against Miami last night. Look for the Los Angeles Lakers on home court against Chicago to get their 5th straight win, the New York Knicks to shoot for 4 in a row at home against the incoming Charlotte Bobcats, and the Dallas Mavericks to overwhelm the Detroit Pistons at home. As always, find a couple of good NBA picks taking streaking teams to move you towards a wagering victory, as more and more teams find their stride in the early going of the new season.

With a few more wagers on tap at sportsbook today, I have to take a shot at the lone NHL Hockey game, even if the match-up isn’t all that great. Nonetheless, the Phoenix Coyotes are on a tear, and why not throw a wager down for them at home, against the Edmonton Oilers, undoubtedly the worst team in the league this year? Ilya Bryzgalov has been spectacular in his team’s six game winning streak, and with a win tonight, the Coyotes look to go from the obscure to the forefront of the Pacific Division in exciting fashion. For those with a taste for Soccer, look for plenty of UEFA Champions League play early on today, including big matches between AS Roma and Bayern Munich, AJ Auxerre vs. AC Milan and Ajax vs. Real Madrid to name a few. With more great action in the world of sports and online sports betting ahead tomorrow, hopefully a couple of key wins today will help fuel more wagering this week, so get at those bets today at Superbook sportsbook, and we’ll catch you again tomorrow for more wagering options at the top online sports books reviewed right here!
