Friday’s top sportsbook picks for Basketball, …

For sports fans looking to get into the exciting world of online sports betting on Friday, this week holds an above average crop of options in the top sportsbooks reviewed here, with plenty of NBA and NCAA Basketball scheduled, as well as great match-ups in NHL Hockey and a few choice games taking place in NCAA Football today. After a fun Thanksgiving day of wagering on NFL Football, Friday holds a dose of 12 NHL contests, 13 NBA games and plenty of NCAA Football and Basketball worth taking at least a couple of wagers on at one of the top sportsbooks found anywhere. For the featured website of the day, I’m headed back to the Betonline Sportsbook (read the review of Betonline Sportsbook), which has quickly become a staple each week for sports betting on the top competition scheduled for each day. With a full day of relaxing (luckily enough I’m free from the normal job for the rest of the weekend), we’ll plan on dropping a couple wagers in each of the top leagues in action today, with simple bets at’s great sportsbook hopefully adding to a winning weekend overall. We’ll go over the top options available today, with the hopes of calling out the best options to make gains on the day of sports ahead.

Heading towards the basketball end of the spectrum for online sports betting today, find plenty of great options between the NBA and NCAA to start out the betting line at Betonline sportsbook. For the NBA, I’ll continue to rally behind Orlando at home, especially with a nice match-up against the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers who continue to fade away after a decent start on the season. Though without Vince Carter tonight, the Magic are heating up at home especially coming off another win against Miami, and playing good team ball independent of any star performances from the team. Speaking of Miami, the Big Three of the Heat should be able to settle back to winning ways after losing three straight, as they host Philadelphia tonight on home court. In further action, the Boston Celtics get Rajon Rondo back tonight against Toronto, and at home should have no issues dismantling the Raptors. Look for a fun game between Indiana and the red-hot OKC Thunder, who feature a great tandem of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant which may be too much for Indiana to handle even at home. Lastly, I like a parlay wager taking the Spurs at home over Dallas, Denver at home over Chicago, and Los Angeles to prevail on the road against a tough Utah team. These should make for great match-ups regardless of wagering, so be sure to tune into one of these three games for some exciting NBA action later on this evening.

Over to the NCAA side of basketball today, look for the top match-up between #7 Villanova and #24 Tennessee in an NIT tip-off on neutral ground. It’s been highly evident that the Top 10-ranked teams in early tournaments have fared poorly in the face of underdogs with something to prove, and tonight’s match-up seems no different. In the title game tonight, ‘Nova has the advantage as the favorite, however I’ll take the Volunteers to at least keep it within the points spread, as it should be tight down to the wire in the tournament finale. In big lopsided competition, #3 Ohio State should have no problem with Miami Ohio, Kansas State looks to regain form after a tough routing by #1 Duke, and the unfortunate victims will be Texas Southern, Kansas should have no problem routing Ohio in the Las Vegas Invitational, and #9 Purdue pulls an easy match-up against Southern Illinois. Look for other close games as #10 Syracuse has yet to play well against decent teams and gets Michigan today in the Legend’s Classic, Georgia tries to take down #20 Temple in the Old Spice Classic, and Virginia Tech and Oklahoma State should make for the best game among unranked teams today. Always an exciting way to get into online sports betting, expect the action in the NCAA today to be well worth at least a couple of wagers.

Closing out the wagers for Friday, check out the great featured games in NCAA Football, including a huge match-up as #2 Auburn takes a trip to #11 Alabama in what will be the best game to watch and wager on today. Though Alabama is at home, and has plenty of offensive power to hang with Auburn, I have to wager on Cam Newton’s ability to run and pass his way to victory during any given week, and as such will take Auburn to emerge victorious today. Also in action today is #1 Oregon, taking a home-stand against a good #21-ranked Arizona team led by the solid quarterback Nick Foles. As is typical for Oregon, I would expect a tight first half as Arizona brings everything to the table, but with the top-ranked offense, the Ducks should cruise in the second half with overwhelming offensive options to seal their spot on top of the Pac-10 this season. Lastly, a huge battle in the WAC takes place as #4 Boise State gets its biggest challenge of the year facing #19 Nevada. While I like Boise State to win, look for Colin Kaepernick and the Wolf Pack to put their best foot forward today, and give the Broncos a run for their money. With even more wagers on tap for the NHL tonight, it’s a very well-rounded day for betting on sports, so be sure to drop into the Betonline sportsbook and try your hand at the top wagers available, en route to another great weekend of sports and online sports betting ahead.
