Saturday is a great day for online sports betting

It’s just about all here today folks! For Saturday, just about all the major sports are represented in our best online sportsbooks, and I for one am having a great day kicking back, and enjoying the baseball, football, and now hockey that is all in action today around the U.S. Big games in the Major League Baseball Divisional Series are underway already, as the Chicago Cubs are back home looking to stave of elimination against the impressive Arizona Diamondbacks. Livan Hernandez goes up against youngster Rich Hill, who will try to keep the Cubbies, and the Chicago faithful in the playoffs for at least one more game. What has been impressive thus far is Arizona’s ability to play small ball, something the coincidentally Lou Pinella has always been good at, but finds that philosophy being used against his team. The Arizona pitching staff has also done a fabulous job thus far, keeping the heart of the order unproductive and unable to capitalize on the scores of base runners that the Cubs have put on base so far. I’ve got to say that Chicago doesn’t look good to continue on in this series, and my money is on the Dbacks to close out today.

In the other series between the Colorado Rockies and the Philadelphia Phillies, the roles are reversed, and the home team has the 2 game advantage in this series. It would be a tough bet to go against the Rockies at home, especially considering the absolute tear they are on, winning 16 of their last 17 games to this point. Quickly moving on to NCAA football, it is worth mentioning that there are plenty of great match-ups to choose from in our top sportsbooks here at, specifically in the south with the SEC having a handful of great games this week. Florida and LSU is the game of the week in my mind, but I’ve got to go with the #1 LSU to take this one on home turf. Georgia and Tennessee should be another great game to catch today, as these two teams meet for the 101st time this afternoon. Two other big games to check for include the Oklahoma vs. Texas Showdown, and the ACC battle between Virginia Tech and Clemson. This is a complete and overwhelming day for betting on sports, so choose those bets carefully, and get down to our featured sportsbooks reviewed on our site for all the action.

Last but certainly not least today, NHL hockey returns to prominence, with 14 games on tap throughout the day. I’ve been so involved with the start of the NFL season, College Football, and the MLB postseason, that hockey has quietly snuck up right underneath me! I think that it’s a bit early to get really involved in betting on hockey just yet, as the season needs a few games to show what teams are going to stand out, but you can bet that the NHL will have plenty of great wagering opportunities soon. Enjoy the wide variety of betting on sports available at some of the best online sportsbooks on the internet. Until tomorrow, good luck and enjoy this great day of sports.
