Monday Night Football and BaseballWho could ask for more?

It’s always great to come home on Monday night after a long day, and settle in for a little Monday Night Football, and some online sports betting on our best sportsbooks featured here at It’s even better when you get to come home, and have playoff baseball going on at the same time, just in case either game gets a bit stale (although with playoff baseball, that is rarely the case). For tonight’s online sports betting I’ve ventured to one of my favorite top sportsbooks at (<a href=””>read the review of</a>), and placed a few wagers hoping that this Monday night will turn out to be a lucky one indeed. With the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians knotted up at one game apiece in the AL Championship Series, this game is key for both teams, as Boston will now need to split in Cleveland, just as the Indians had done with their stunning extra innings win Saturday at Fenway Park. My money for tonight is on Cleveland, as I’m rooting for the underdog whenever my home teams aren’t involved. Jake Westbrook gets the start against Dice-K for the Red Sox, and both pitchers will need their top stuff to keep their teams in it.

Switching over to football for the second wager of the night, Monday Night Football has a tough call to make between the New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons. While the Falcons may be 1-4 on the year, and looking quite disheveled without their usual QB whose name will not be mentioned, I’m not ready to count them in tonight for a stolen win on their home turf. Atlanta really doesn’t stand a chance against an improving Giants team, so I’m taking the under bet for total points scored, and hoping that Atlanta will stay stagnant as they have been thus far. With such an under average night for Monday Night Football, it’s a great two have two very crucial Major League Baseball games, to more than fill the sports betting void. Who would have believed anyone who said that the Colorado Rockies would get into the playoffs, looking to sweep two teams straight, and be one game from the World Series? Not me, and in fact I’m not sure what to think of the Rockies being the World Series Representative for the National League. One thing is for certain, I’m betting on them for the sweep, as you know the fans in Denver are going to be going nuts.
