Broncos v. Pats front and center for sportsbook betting …

I must confess first thing that I have personal stake in this Monday Night Football game tonight, so please do you best to heed all words of caution upon talk of picking a team tonight based on my analysis. You see, it’s my fantasy football team that gets me into a bind here. I’m down 35 points heading into tonight’s game, with Jay Cutler and Matt Prater to try and boost me over Murder Party, which happens to be my buddy Spence’s team this year. He team is good. Anyways, what I’m saying is that I need Denver to put up big numbers (which they probably will) for saving face in my silly Fantasy Football league, and also for New England to do some of the same, for the modest total points posted for this game recently. For wagering today, one of our ten best online sportsbooks sees a bit more action from me, at Players Only Sportsbook (<a href=””>read the review of Players Only</a>).

I don’t know why, but after looking at previous stats on these two teams (ie, see Mike Shanahan’s record against ol’ Bill), and seeing that Denver has absolutely owned the Pats during a time where no one else did, I like Denver to win this ball game tonight. In a battle of two sub-par defenses, tie goes to the QB’s, WR’s and RB’s to figure the match-up here. In a shoot out any day, I’ll take Jay Cutler over Matt Cassel. New England is confused between Kevin Faulk and Laurence Maroney, where Denver has a solid pair with Pittman and Young (provided Young’s injuries keep him trucking). At wideout, eh. Wes Welker and Randy Moss would be great behind Brady, but Cassel just isn’t, well, Tom Brady. Both teams will be pretty much on even terms weather wise, a predicted 38 degrees at game-time, so everything points to Denver here.

Whatever comes of this game, let’s hope for the sake of A) My online sportsbook wager, and B) a great game of Monday Night Football, that there are plenty of points scored, and great football action to compliment the excitement of betting on sports online. NFL Football is a great game indeed, and there is no better time for online sports betting on Monday Night, as this happens to be the 600th MNF contest ever! I’ll be.
