I don’t know if you’re as big of a baseball fan as I am, but it’s Tuesday, and I’m already getting antsy for the ALCS and NLCS baseball series to begin on Friday. While unfortunately for us nothing will make time go by any faster, we at least have the pleasure of wrapping up the Divisional Series round of the playoffs, as Game 5 of the Texas Rangers vs. Tampa Bay Rays series gets underway this evening in a repeat of Game 1, featuring aces Cliff Lee and David Price at Tropicana Field. While we don’t know if the awful baseball fans in South Florida will actually pack this stadium for tonight’s game, baseball fans everywhere else undoubtedly will be tuning in for another great performance by two of the most exciting young teams in baseball tonight. What I didn’t take note of prior to Game 1 in this series is the fact that when Cliff Lee takes the hill, you can just about all but forget the other factors in the game, especially opposing pitching. Tonight, unless David Price is able to come up with a near-perfect game of his own, the bet has to fall on the Texas Rangers to take the series tonight, and send Texas to the ALCS against the New York Yankees. For starting off Tuesday’s sportsbook betting at Bodog Sportsbook (read the review of Bodog Sportsbook), It’s the Rangers to win outright, but there’s a solid wagering option to once again take an under wager on total points, with two of the best pitchers this year going head to head in a do-or-die game.
It’s been a really long day at work so far, but fortunately for me, I’v managed to sneak away from the boring load of emails and get my online sports book wagers placed for the day and night’s action ahead. Even though the playoff buzz is all around for baseball, there’s still always a great amount of sports action to be found betting on NHL hockey, and I’ve got room for a few games to pile into a parlay bet today. With the two games featuring the Los Angeles Kings vs. the Atlanta Thrashers and the Detroit Red Wings hosting the Colorado Avalanche, I like the home teams in these games (Kings and Red Wings respectively) and I’ll take them for the win at the great sportsbook at Bodog.com. Playing with a chip on their shoulder from last season’s playoffs, the young and energetic LA Kings are one of my teams to watch this year, with one of the best young goaltenders in the league in Jonathan Quick, and a host of young talent including Anze Kopitar, Dustin Brown and Drew Doughty to make for an exciting team to keep your eye on.
It’s always a great time when you spread out your online sports betting to include as much sports action as possible, and with days like today with minimal opportunities, see what you can accomplish by taking a little piece of all the action available at the top sportsbooks reviewed right here. With only a few college football games upcoming this week, the 1 remaining MLB playoff game and a number of NHL hockey games available for online sportsbook betting, make sure to get into our best online sportsbooks tonight and for the days ahead and take your best shot at wagering, and then check in to the games later on in your area. With more great sports betting action to come, stay tuned right here, and enjoy wagering at the best online sportsbooks like Bodog.com sportsbook today!
