League Championship Series anchor sportsbook wagers at …

As we move deeper into yet another great week of sports, it’s time to head back to one of the tried and true favorites that we here at Casinoreview.org frequent, at the Betonline Sportsbook (read the review of Betonline Sportsbook) Without a doubt, this site is one of the simplest, easy to use websites for betting on sports that we’ve found, and should definitely be worth checking out for your wagers today, or at any time in the future. For the action today, look no further than the two big League Championship match-ups taking place, first in a day game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the San Francisco Giants, and wrapping up with the evening match-up between the New York Yankees and the Texas Rangers, the former team finding themselves in a very precarious position down 2 games to 1 heading into a pivotal Game 4. To start the wagering off right away, it’s a very tough call on the first game, being started by Matt Cain for the Giants, and the 2008 World Series MVP Cole Hamels. With talent like this on the mound, expect nothing but near perfection, and a good shot at taking an under wager on total points in the first game tonight. With Matt Cain’s unlucky history of getting little run support (and with Cole Hamels pitching lights out again this playoff season), it’s a fair bet to take the Phillies to get even on the road, however I’ll stick it out with just the under wager to play it safe, and look towards a real pick for the second game of the day.

The soft spot underneath the Yankee armor has been fully exposed by the Texas Rangers in the American League Championship series, and that weakness is starting pitching. After seeing C.C. Sabathia struggle a bit in Game 1 but still get the win, and then two routs by Texas in Games 2 and 3, it’s looking like more pain for New York, who put up their weakest link, A.J. Burnett against Tommy Hunter. Without the Yankee bats getting fired up early and often to knock out Hunter early on, the Rangers could easily be looking at a 3-1 advantage with one game left in New York before heading back home for the final two (with Cliff Lee on track for a Game 6 start if needed, scary). Therefore, it’s do-or-die time for the most overpaid pitcher in all of baseball this year, but A.J. Burnett can help clear his name with a win at home to even the series at 2 apiece. Key to this game will be the run production abilities of the Yankees, who badly need to see their stars such as Mark Texiera, Alex Rodriguez and Robinson Cano get going early and often. With the bats of Michael Young and Josh Hamilton doing their jobs on the other side when needed, Texas looks primed to take Game 4, and in this one I’ll hedge again on the Rangers, but also look out for some big run production as both pitchers are very liable to give up big innings against these two very powerful offensive lineups.

Lastly today, there are plenty of interesting wagers to take on as UEFA Champions League gets underway again, most notably with match-ups between Chelsea and Spartak Moscow, Real Madrid vs. AC Milan, and Ajax vs. Auxerre taking place early in the day. Chelsea has a heavy advantage against their Russian foes, as does Ajax at home with numerous Auxerre players out (as well as them performing horribly in Ligue 1 standings thus far), however the AC Milan v. Real Madrid match-up should be a close contest, with two pretty well matched teams. I’m throwing together a nice little 3 team parlay wager for online sports betting today at Betonline.com, taking Chelsea, Real Madrid and Ajax to come through as winners. Make sure to make your rounds across the 4 NHL Hockey match-ups taking place today, especially with Washington in action at home, Nashville riding a great start (and hosting a lackluster Calgary Flames team), and a great match-up between San Jose and Carolina in the Bay Area tonight. As always, good luck in your sports book bets at any one of the top online sportsbooks reviewed here, check out Betonline.com if you haven’t done so just yet, and we’ll catch you again tomorrow, with more sports betting updates and collectively more money in our sportsbook accounts!
