NFL Football, World Series Game 4 highlight sportsbook …

Oh how great it is to be a sports fan today! With World Series Baseball, NFL football, NHL and NBA action, and even a few matches in English Premier League Football on tap for your viewing pleasure, Sunday is a day for sportsbook betting like no other, and it’s a great opportunity for hopping online, checking out the best wagers of the day, and placing a few bets before the action gets underway. Having one more day to mosey around at home before the dreaded Monday return to work, and a great excuse not to leave the couch today, I for one have parked myself firmly at 9 am in front of the TV, and am prepared to only leave for 5 minute intervals during any stretch of the day. That’s just the way a dedicated sports fan should be spending a Sunday afternoon, dang it! Aside from my personal aspirations of reaching the ‘laziest man alive’ today, I’ll have to spend at least a little effort in taking time to review the sportsbook betting action today, which doesn’t get too much more exciting at any point in the year, and while waiting for the morning football games to commence (including Premier League matches between Aston Villa and Birmingham, Newcastle hosting Sunderland, and Bolton vs. Liverpool), I’m already venturing for more wagers on the NFL at (read the review of, and licking my chops for all the great action in store for Week 8 of another great season.

In the games today, there are a couple of good match-ups worth checking out, including the contest between the Green Bay Packers and the New York Jets, which should be a grinding game as the Jets’ pass defense should be strong against Aaron Rogers, and the Packers’ D has been very strong against the run this season, and should be well prepared to handle Mark Sanchez at QB. I don’t see how a banged-up Packers team can muster a win on the road at New York, but more so I can’t imagine a high-scoring affair with two very defensive-minded teams today, and as such at, the first wager is an under call on total points. Once more the San Diego Chargers look to curtail their slide, at home today against a scary looking Tennessee Titans team, coming in 3-0 on the road. I just don’t see the Chargers falling to 2-6 on the season, having waited for their eventual rebound for three weeks now. This is the week they prevail, finally, and keep Norv Turner’s head above water. Speaking of teams 3-0 on the road, the Miami Dolphins head to Cincinnati to try and keep the winning alive (since they can’t seem to do it at home), and face another of the most disappointing teams in the league, the Bengals. It’ll be another grinding, defensive minded game today, and judging on the performances last week from both teams (Miami barely losing to Pittsburgh, Cincy getting blown out by Atlanta), I like the Fins today to stay undefeated on the road and keep them in contention. The Cowboys will try to regain confidence without their starter Tony Romo (out with a fractured clavicle) as they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Chiefs look to go 4-0 at Arrowhead Stadium hosting the miserable Buffalo Bills, stay away from the Broncos vs. 49ers, who are both horrible right now, and vote Patriots at home vs. broken Favre and Randy Moss, who New England is all too-familiar with.

For a few added online sportsbook bets today, look to some great NBA and NHL action to provide some further excitement, if you haven’t gotten your fill from the smattering of NFL action. 4 games in the NBA make for a nice opportunity for a parlay wager especially, and for today, I’m looking to the Los Angeles Lakers at home against Golden State, Miami at New Jersey, and Dallas at the L.A. Clippers. Definitely don’t forget to squeeze your wager in at one of the top sportsbooks reviewed here for the World Series Game 4 between the San Francisco Giants and the Texas Rangers, as the youngster Madison Bumgarner looks to continue his great postseason play facing Tommy Hunter tonight. It’s a must win for the Rangers to get the series back to 2 games apiece, with the final two games looming at San Francisco to close out if necessary. At any rate, expect another exciting game in this series of underdog teams, with a new hero emerging every night. Any which way you look at it, or how you chose to do your betting on sports, it is another great day for sports, and for betting on sports at our best online sportsbooks here at Enjoy the games throughout the day, and good luck in all your sportsbook betting for the week to come!
