Tuesday evening’s Major League baseball action

Los Angeles is far too hot for September right now, and the same can be said for the action that is underway tonight for Major League Baseball sports betting. Finally getting a break on Monday evening, my Seattle Mariners clutched up with a win against the New York Yankees, securing a victory for the first time in over a week and further netting a much needed sports betting victory at Sportsbook.com. Felix Hernandez pitched a very solid giving up only one run one five hits in seven innings against Roger Clemens, who no doubt did not pitch a good ball game. With my head held a little bit higher, and the gap in the American League Wild Card closing slightly to just two games separating the Mariners and the Yankees, the remaining two games of their series will make for some very competitive baseball action. Knowing the Yankees to not be a team that likes to be beat twice at home, I couldn’t bring myself to bet against the Bronx Bombers, and have instead opted to take a bet on total points for this game at Betonus.com (<a href=”http://www.casinoreview.org/sports_betting/betus.html”>read the review of BetUS</a>).

In another great game for Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers square off against the Chicago Cubs, who sit precariously on top of the NL Central, while the Dodgers are creeping back into the NL West race just a few games back of the San Diego Padres. With Brad Penny back on the hill, it’s no doubt that the Dodger will be the chosen winners for my online sports betting on this game. The Cubbies had better hope that the Milwaukee Brewers drop a game tonight against the Houston Astros, because if the Dodgers and Brewers both win, the Cubs will find themselves only a half game up in their division. Since the Brewers have no where to go up toward the end of the year after a terrible second half so far, I wouldn’t be surprised to see resurgence from that team, and the Chicago Cubs had better be ready to play some great ball down the stretch.

San Diego continues to duke it out with Arizona tonight down in the desert, and there is no doubt that the Dodgers will be paying close attention to who wins this game. I’m riding Doug Davis in this game for the Diamondbacks, as I would love to see this divisional race get as close as possible. If Arizona wins, there will be a tie for first place, and less than a 5 game separation between first and fourth place in the division. Baseball is getting more and more exciting as the days creep toward October, and you can get in on all the sports betting action by hitting up our top sportsbooks here at CasinoReview.org.
