It’s a great day for online sportsbook betting, as this Tuesday cracks off with even more great opportunities for betting on sports for MLB baseball. Although Tuesday is not normally my favorite day for online sportsbook betting as there is rarely much more than MLB baseball in action, I can’t help but get back on the saddle at Oddsmaker sportsbook (read the review of Oddsmaker.com) and press on with the playoff-implicating games that are in store today, as it’s the first day that a division can be clinched, as a Chicago White Sox loss combined with a Minnesota Twins win will solidify the AL Central pennant. With the Twins again hosting the Indians, and with the Chicago White Sox facing the Oakland A’s’ Trevor Cahill, the first wagers of the day pick the Twins to wrap up the division with a win of their own, and a disappointing finish for the White Sox as they lose their 8th in a row. If predictions hold, the Oakland A’s will certainly have a good building block to look for next year in Trevor Cahill (who could be the first starter to finish with 17 or more wins since Mark Mulder did), and the Twins will be primed for a rest for their starting rotation in preparation for what will likely be a tough ALDS to come.
For today’s further run into online sportsbook betting, I’m swinging from the hip with a few gut check bets at Oddsmaker.com’s Sportsbook, which is certainly one of the easiest, cleanest, and most rewarding online sportsbooks I’ve played on to date. With 15 games in store for betting on sports for Major League Baseball, look to a few key games to anchor your sportsbook betting chances on Tuesday. The San Francisco Giants need to pick up a win on the road against the Chicago Cubs, who are hell-bent on playing the spoiler down the home stretch. Matt Cain has been tough, but not well supported on offense, so count on a low-scoring game at the least, but a toss-up for victory tonight. Also in the National League West race, San Diego faces Los Angeles in a good match-up between Clayton Richard and Chad Billingsley. As the Dodgers fade, look for teams like San Diego to take advantage, and win games like these left and right towards the end of the year. In the last couple of games I’m wagering on, Roy Halladay gets my nod to pull his Phillies through a win against Atlanta (and gets his 20th win in the process), and the New York Yankees rally once again at home against Tampa as Phil Hughes challenges James Shields.
