Sportsbook bets feature Major League Baseball, UEFA …

Not too much has changed day-to-day in the race for the Major League Baseball playoffs, as Wednesday’s featured games saw both the New York Yankees as well as the Tampa Bay Rays lose important games to keep the AL East Pennant Race deadlocked once again with the Rays just a half game ahead. Moving into Thursday, Tampa Bay will be in position to capitalize on the one extra game they have this week at the Kansas City Royals, while the Yankees await their final stand at Boston against a Red Sox team that no doubt will be anxious to spoil the hopes of a Yankees AL East Pennant this year. Getting down to online sports betting today, there’s a definite draw to get into the action with a few wagers on the remaining playoff races in the MLB, so we’ll fire up the sports betting account at the Betus.com sportsbook (read the review of Betus.com), and get started on a couple of picks. Betus.com is by far and away one of the best online sports betting sites in the business, with a simple and easy-to-navigate website, great customer service, and plenty of experience in the market. For wagering today, try your hand at this top sportsbook, and bet with confidence knowing it’s been tried, tested, and honored here on our website.

For starters, we’ll have to back Matt Garza and the Tampa Bay Rays to bounce back after a tough shut-out loss to Kevin Milwood and the Baltimore Orioles last night (who would have guessed that one?). While Garza has been struggling down the home stretch with three very poor starts, his most recent outing against the Mariners seemed to show a bit of bounce back to proper form. Facing Zack Greinke though, you can expect a Royals team looking to also play spoiler today, and likely a quality outing will come from the Royals’ starter in this match-up. Tampa has been strong on the road all year, and while I’m a little skeptical on Garza, I’ll gamble on a Tampa win to cover the points spread, with a +120 price on 1 1/2 points. Changing over to the race in the NL West between San Diego and San Francisco, I’ll have to first wager on a San Diego win, as the Padres face Tom Gorzelanny and the Chicago Cubs, with Gorzelanny having dropped his last three road starts, and was hammered by the St. Louis Cardinals in his last outing on the 24th. The Padres throw Jon Garland to the hill, who has been a bit up and down in September, however at home I actually like the over wager on total points (7 1/2), and also the Padres to cover the spread at 1 1/2. San Francisco on the other hand has the better draw of the two top teams, as Madison Baumgarner has been lights out in September (though getting little run support, up until last Thursday’s 13-0 rout in Chicago). Between Baumgarner and Arizona starter Barry Enright, I’m liking the under wager on total points, or a straight up win for the Giants, if you’re going the parlay route today.

Outside of the playoff action in pro Baseball today, find more great wagering opportunities as Jon Lester and the Boston Red Sox head to Chicago to take on John Danks in a battle of the left-out teams, and Cliff Lee and the Texas Rangers look to further push the L.A. Angels under .500 at home in Arlington. Texas looks to also get their slugger Josh Hamilton back in action, which is huge for their run towards an ALDS victory. Minnesota throws Francisco Liriano against Toronto today, and at home I certainly like the Twins’ odds to prevail, though the under wager on total points looks solid between two pretty good pitchers. Find the newly energized Cincinnati Reds coming off their pennant clinching run this week looking to take down Houston at home as Bronson Arroyo gets warmed up for the post season, Chris Carpenter at home as the St. Louis Cardinals host the newly-eliminated Colorado Rockies, and Gio Gonzalez and the Oakland A’s taking on John Fister and the Seattle Mariners in what should amount to a very low scoring affair.

Rounding out another great day of online sports betting, make sure to check out the lone NCAA Football contest between two remaining undefeated teams as Texas A&M travels to face Oklahoma State in an interesting Big 12 match-up. The OSU Cowboys apparently know how to put up points this year, with the league’s top ranked offense in terms of overall production and points scored. With a huge points total of 66 1/2 for the game, and the moneyline leading towards Oklahoma, we’ll expect that both teams will put up less points than their previous blowout games amassed, but still will make for a shoot-out tonight as neither defense seems able to handle the offensive load the other can provide. I’ll take OSU with the spread at 3 points at the Betus.com sportsbook, and look for the Cowboys to continue their heavy passing attack to simply outscore Texas A&M, 38-30. Make sure to also catch the great action in UEFA Champions League Football today, as plenty of matches are available for online sports betting at Betus.com. As the weekend approaches, make sure to use all the resources available at the best online sports betting sites to pick and choose your best chances to win a little extra cash down the line. Good luck today, and catch you again soon for more updates on the exciting world of online sports betting at the top sportsbooks found on the web!
