Sugar Bowl, NBA and NCAA Basketball Top Sports Betting …

After a wild and exciting day of NCAA Football Bowl games yesterday, things wind down a little bit on Tuesday, with just one College Bowl game on tap for tonight, as the 2012 Sugar Bowl gets set for a fantastic showdown between the #13 Michigan Wolverines and the #11 Virginia Tech Hokies. However, with a grip of good options for online sports betting extending into NBA and NCAA Basketball today, along with a six-pack of games for NHL Hockey, sports betting fans should have no problems finding a couple of great wagers at one of the best online sportsbooks reviewed here, whether it be on the exciting football, basketball or hockey contests laid out for a solid Tuesday night of sports competition. As always, we’re preparing for the inevitable end to the NCAA Football season, which as always is one of the best sports for sportsbook bets, and as such, for the first wager of the day we’re checking out the betting lines at Oddsmaker Sportsbook, searching for the best betting choices on tonight’s Sugar Bowl from New Orleans, in order to jump on one of the last chances for wagering on College Football this year. Make sure to head on down to Oddsmaker Sportsbook, or any of the top sports betting sites we’ve reviewed for a taste of tonight’s bowl action, exciting basketball opportunities and much, much more!

With today’s wagering taking place at one of the top sportsbooks reviewed here at the Oddsmaker Sportsbook, I’m back at one of my favorite sports betting websites for a couple of choice wagers on the day. Starting off with the Sugar Bowl this evening between Michigan and Virginia Tech, there’s tight betting lines for this exciting match-up, featuring one of College Football’s most exciting quarterbacks in Michigan’s Denard Robinson, and one of the most explosive running backs in VT’s David Wilson. With two outstanding defenses on the field as well, each allowing just 17.2 points per game, this battle will be all the more interesting as it will be difficult to figure out which defensive front bows to offensive pressure first, and which side can properly contain the other sides’ most talented weapons. With Virginia Tech entering tonight’s match-up as a slight underdog at +3 against the spread and +125 odds, I like the Hokies as the underdog, but I also very much like the more balanced Wolverine offense with Robinson at QB and running back Fitzgerald Toussaint doing damage on the ground. Looking for the Wolverines to prevail tonight, I’ll take the first bet at Oddsmaker banking on Michigan to cover the 3 points on the spread, and for the over/under at 51.5 points to get busted as defense gives way to offense late in this game.

For bets on the NBA and NCAA Basketball games lined up for Tuesday, first check out the top games in the NBA, which features 6 games across the U.S. tonight. A pair of 4-1 teams clash in Chicago as the Bulls take on the Atlanta Hawks, in what should be a great look at two teams that should be in this year’s playoffs once again behind great team chemistry and well-balanced offenses. With the Bulls coming off a 40 point blowout in their first home game against Memphis, the points spread on tonight’s game is hyper inflated, at +10 points going to Atlanta as the underdog on the road, however with Atlanta playing solid defense allowing just 87.6 points per game and coming off a confidence building road win at Miami last night, look for the Hawks to at least cover the points in this exciting showdown tonight. Next up, find a great battle between Oklahoma City and Portland, as the Thunder seek a bounce back game after losing their first of the year to Dallas yesterday evening. OKC has to shut down the Portland offense and play better on defense, but even in a shoot-out, at home the Thunder should be able to pull off covering the -5 points against the spread. Check out NCAA Basketball action as well tonight for betting on sports, as #6 Missouri looks to stay undefeated at home with a win over Oklahoma, #7 Ohio State seeks a bounce-back game at home against Nebraska, and #11 Michigan State takes on #19 Wisconsin in a fantastic Big Ten match-up at Madison, WI. Make sure to also check out betting lines for a possible upset game featuring #8 UConn at Seton Hall in Big East play, and expect the match-up between #10 Louisville at St. Johns to also be an exciting Big East challenge as well.

Make sure to place your bets online for all the great action today, try out the Oddsmaker sportsbook for some tried and true sports betting, and we look forward to seeing you here at our site again soon for more updates on the exciting world of online sports betting!
