Adding in the finale of the UEFA Champions League tournament, which saw Chelsea walk away with the Champions League trophy after arguably one of the most thrilling victories ever witnessed on the European soccer stage, and it’s safe to say that this weekend has been all that and more for online sports betting at the top sportsbooks reviewed right here. Thankfully though, the action doesn’t stop on Saturday, and looking to today’s plate of sports betting opportunities, a number of great sporting events are ready for us to jump into at our featured sports betting destination of the day at Oddsmaker Sportsbook. Checking out the NBA action first and foremost the San Antonio Spurs v. Los Angeles Clippers series continues on with the second game in two days, with tonight’s showdown possibly generating a Western Conference Finals appearance for the Spurs. Coming back from 24 points down in Game 3 yesterday afternoon, San Antonio has to be riding high as they seek out an astonishing 18 straight victories dating into the end of the regular season, against a Clippers team that simply cannot string together a complete four quarters of basketball against them. It seemed as if Blake Griffin and Chris Paul would be able to at least grab one game in this series after yesterday’s strong start, however with an 8 point 3rd quarter and a 24-0 run by San Antonio late in the game, it’s safe to say that whatever hopes Lob City had of staying in contention for this series has all but vanished. They’ll try to become the only team in NBA history to come back from a 3-0 series deficit, but with the Spurs clicking on all cylinders and 7.5 point favorites to win tonight’s game (-340 odds to wins straight up), it looks as though a great season for the upstart Clips will likely come to a close on their home court tonight.

Checking out the options for the second NBA playoff match-up on the day, the Miami Heat could find themselves in serious trouble in their showdown against the Indiana Pacers, as Game 4 at Indianapolis finds LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and company in a 2-1 hole with yet another game to play on the road. The Heat are definitely in must-win mode tonight, and without Chris Bosh yet again it will be a struggle for Miami to stay competitive around the basket. However, the bookmakers continue to support Miami as the favorite, giving them -135 odds straight up on the money line, and a 2 point favorite against the spread. Expecting the Heat, especially Dwayne Wade (5 points on 2-for-13 shooting in Game 3), to step up and make this a better game than the near 20-point blowout they suffered in Game 3 is understood, but with all the momentum in favor of Indiana on their home court, we have to side with the Pacers as the favorites to prevail this evening, as a win would put them clearly in the driver’s seat for the series as it shifts back to Miami on Tuesday. Look for Danny Granger, Roy Hibbert and David West to come out swinging on offense and play excellent, physical defense, and give the Heat plenty of trouble in front of what will be a rocking Bankers Life Fieldhouse this afternoon.

Flipping the playoff action over to the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Los Angeles Kings are all set to make a run at their second consecutive series sweep, with the Phoenix Coyotes trying desperately to find a way to win against what has become the most exciting hockey team in the NHL. Holding a 3-0 series advantage into Game 4 tonight at home, the Kings will continue to push their aggressive, high-energy style of play in the hopes of reaching the Stanley Cup Finals for just the second time in history. While Phoenix certainly put up a valiant effort in Game 3′s loss on Thursday night, they’ll at least be fully rested after an extra day off, and will hope to have a better game plan for exposing some weakness in the Kings armor that so far has only appeared in small fits. The fast-paced Kings however, who have seemingly beaten the Coyotes to every loose puck and have completely dominated on offense, will maintain their cool composure into tonight’s game, and continue to threaten with every line they send out. Getting -210 odds to win this evening, the Kings are primed to sweep Phoenix out of the playoffs in just 4 games, with the hopes of getting plenty of rest and time to prepare for either the New Jersey Devils or the New York Rangers in the battle for the most glorious cup in all of sports.

Wrapping up our foray into online sports betting at Oddsmaker Sportsbook today, turn to the 15 games on the docket for Major League Baseball, as a number of weekend series in Interleague play wrap up this afternoon and evening. The top pitching match-up of the day comes in the series between the New York Yankees and the Cincinnati Reds, as New York’s C.C. Sabathia heads to the mound against the Reds’ Johnny Cueto. New York is a -185 favorite at home in the rubber match of this series, but with both pitchers looking to bounce back off their first losses on the season, expect a great betting opportunity taking the underside of the total points line, currently at 7.5 runs. Moving on to another great pitching duel, check out Wei-Yin Chen of the Baltimore Orioles up against Stephen Strasburg of the Washington Nationals as the O’s try for their 6th consecutive win to stay firmly atop the AL East division. Strasburg gets the Nats -150 odds as favorites straight up, but don’t count out the surging Orioles who will be behind arguably their best pitcher so far this season. Make sure not to miss out on plenty of other great weekend-closing series in MLB Baseball, as the Boston Red Sox wrap up with the Philadelphia Phillies (Josh Beckett vs. Cliff Lee), the Atlanta Braves and Tampa Bay Rays seek to break the series tie in Game 3 (Tim Hudson vs. David Price), and the Los Angeles Dodgers look to sweep the St. Louis Cardinals out of town with their 19th win at home as Chad Billingsley takes on Kyle Lohse for a great Sunday Night Baseball showdown on ESPN.
